I have been having issues since I got this computer last year. I have a heck of a time getting pictures to burn to discs. I follow the instructions- select the images, click on share, burn to disc. But nothing goes. Sometimes it makes me think it did but then they get the disc and it's blank. HELP!

I'll wait for a reply too, because I tried to burn one over the weekend and it didn't work at all. I had the same problem you had.

This made me bang my head on my keyboard. Windows 8 doesn't make it easy. What I found that works for me:
Use Windows Media Player. I kind you not. Look for "Burn" tab. Click on that. Have the window small. Look for your pictures on your hard drive. Highlight what you want. Drag and drop to Burn List. Works every time for me. I even wrote a note and stuck it up at the computer to remind me.
I tried what you ladies did too because that's the info I was given and could not get those darn pictures to actually burn on the disc. Made some nice coasters until using google I found the Windows Media Player option.

Have you tried this way Once the screen pops up and says that they are waiting to be burned or are ready to be burned you go to "Manage" in the top tool bar. Click it. A tool bar will pop down and one of the tools will say "Finish burning" (or something to that effect.) Click it. A pop up will have you name the CD. You name it. It burns the CD and pops it right out when it is finished. Found this video for you on YouTube which explains the process burning CD on windows 8
