Not a huge camper but my DS and father are so I have ample opportunity. I'll pick it up as I see it. I'm with sleepingbooty...I would really love to see things with less of a yellow hue.

Really cute! Almost makes me wish I did camping. Almost.

One day, one day, Steven Duncan will include more white-based designs in a CB collection. It's the only downside to his collections for me, the yellow hue. Otherwise, it's always mega heart eyes. Same! My bank account is always grateful for the vintage tones to his collections. I love so many of the designs but prefer a brighter base to the papers.

Yes, yes, yes! I love this line so much, I have quite an obsession with camping/outdoors papers. We are big campers and my husband is an avid fisher so this line is perfect for us, plus anything Steven Duncan does is a win in my books, his style is my jam. I just wish they would stop grunging up every other line. Camping does not have to be grungy. I can not agree with this more. Not only is grungy papers not my style but not all trips are dirty and rustic.

oooohhh... we don't camp either, but it is REALLY nice! I love, love, love the artwork on the cut-apart sheets. They remind me of vintage advertising. The card with the deer getting a drink reminds me of a paint-by-numbers picture!! (we may just have to START camping, lol!)
eta: you can mix cream-based papers with white-based ones, a la Shimelle... if you don't mind doing that sort of thing, that is-- just a thought!
ETA2: I also really like the fishing references; I could see using some of this to scrap childhood memories of fishing vacations in Minnesota. If I didn't have enough more recent stuff to scrap, that is- lol!

I know the first thing I'm going to use this for--Wilderness Lodge at WDW. I am quite excited to use this collection and am in love with the prints, and it'll be on that lovely textured paper too. I think I will come up with many ways to use this, and it should mix with other collections too. Can't wait until it comes out!

^^^ yeah, after looking at them again, I do agree with you on that. I didn't realize it was such a darker shade around the edges. I wish manufacturers would stop doing that, too- if I want to ink the papers, then I'll do it myself.

This is the perfect line for grunge. There's always lots of dirt when I go camping and I don't do tent camping. It's more like lodge camping but not as nice. I love the yellow tones in his lines. I don't do fishing, but I can use those papers for heritage layouts.
