I am in Seattle and I still think Ted Bundy and Gary Ridgeway (the Green River killer) are probably the things that have gotten us the most headlines. We're all serial-killery up in here.

I was going to say that mine would be famous for Laci and Scott Peterson, and then Gray Davis and Chandra Levy. I'm so surprised to see two other peas mention that as well! Small world! And also, so sad that most of these "headlines" are for very sad things. I am originally from that city as well! Small world.

Every year Omaha, NE is the home of the College World Series. Puts us on the map for a couple weeks in June.
And, unfortunately, Pilger, NE which is about 90 miles away from me, has been in the headlines after being nearly wiped out by a tornado. So sad!

Tornados!! May 3, 1999 and May 20, 2013. My children go to one of the elementary schools that was destroyed last year. Thankfully, they were at home with me in the storm shelter when it hit.

Wow, so many sad things posted. My home town was home to Miss America 1963, Jackie Mayer. It's also home to Cedar Point...the greatest amusement park on the planet!

Yearly it is the Bonnaroo music festival. Recently, the man who murdered a woman, chopped her up and then ate some of her body. Yep. That's my hometown.
