Hey Survivors! Well, we've made it to the finale I have to say that this has not been my fav season by any means ... I really don't care who wins because I don't love or hate any of the remaining players Anyone still in the Pea Pool? My bff has Sebastian so I'm hoping she wins with him even though he really hasn't done much strategically ... at least the editors haven't shown us a lot Who else is watching tonight?

Three whole hours! Yippee!
I do hope our internet connection is better than it was last week (we watch using Hulu Live; we don't have cable or satellite). Last week it wouldn't get started, so I missed the first 10 minutes or so, then it cut out part way through the immunity challenge. Then I wasn't able to watch the whole episode until the next day when it became available on regular Hulu. I do so enjoy Survivor. It's the only show I watch live. Well, other than pretty much anything on HGTV if I'm not feeling well.
I don't know who I hope wins. Wendell or Laurel, I think. But I think Dom will win.

We are still in with Wendel. So I am rooting for him. But I agree this has been a lackluster season. Jen

This is who I'd like to win and in what order. I'd like Donathan to win, and if he can't then Laurel and if she can't then Wendell and if he can't then Dom (because he played a good game) and if he can't then Sebastian and if the can't then Angela last.
I recorded the show first so I could skip past the commercials and I just hit play to watch it. I have never liked how the show starts lately with Jeff in with the live audience. I much prefer continuing with them still back in Fiji for continuity's sake. I really hated it tonight because of the way the audience was set up I could tell who won-really, really made me mad. Spoiled the whole ending for me. I'll have to wait and see if I am wrong.

Um, ok. NOW this season is interesting. Lol I was just going to go to bed and shut this off because I wasn’t sure I cared. I probably didn’t/don’t But now, now I have to see if I’m winesding either the most calculating player of all time it the stupidest.
First instinct tells me if he does that- he’s the latter. AND imho even if he accomplished what he thinks he can there might be jurors who think that’s just too stupid a chance to win anyway? Well, they accomplished what they wanted I’m not sleeping now.

I'm watching! This hasn't been my favorite season, or anywhere close, but I can't quit now!
It's down to final 3 and I still haven't made up my mind who I'm rooting for.

Sebastian/sea Bass looks stoned out of his mind. Every time they put him on camera I couldn’t stop laughing. He looked as high as a kite!

WOW! that just shows they look before hand though, right? ! I've always figured they look. Jeff looks at the votes at every single tribal council before he reads them out, and thats how they end up in the most suspenseful way possible. But especially at the finale they would have to look just to make sure that first off a tie doesn't happen, but also that there isn't a problem with any of the votes before they let the players go for the season. I always thought though that they had an uneven number of jurors just to prevent a tie??? I liked both Wendell & Dom - although Laurel was my pool person. I knew she didn't stand a chance though. But I really think Dom deserved to win, he played the better game IMO. He just got too arrogant

I felt like there wasn't much interaction with the contestants and Jeff afterwards. Usually more questions and answer didn't really happen much this time.

I was ecstatic with the results. Though, at the point Dom won immunity, I told Dad he was going to win & I was going to be majorly disappointed.

It was a very satisfactory ending for me, and I was pulling for Wendell to win. I think he did a lot. I don't think Dom would have made it to the end without Wendell, but it might be the same in reverse (Wendell wouldn't have made it to the end without Dom).

Hey strangers!! So sorry I’ve been just an awful survivor friend. I always hate it when my favorite people to chat about Survivor with don’t show up and here I am doing it myself! This has been a weird season for me. Every single season, at least one of my pea survivor pals (and usually more than one) complain about the season—this is the worst season, cast is boring, Survivor is jumping the shark, etc....And I never feel that way. I always hate the negativity and think people are nuts. But this season, I just had trouble getting into it. I watched every episode, although sometimes days later. In fact I just watched last week’s episode this evening. That never happens. I don’t know what it was—dislike of most of the cast, the ghost island format, the switching up the tribes too early, or the fact that I’ve been rewatching several seasons with my dd (who either didn’t watch some of these past seasons or was too young to remember) on Hulu. We’re near the end of the One World season now. Thoughts about tonight: Things I don’t like: letting the girl in the audience make a guess at who won, having Kevin Hart come and talk about his new show (which looks exactly like an old show called Wipeout), having the final tribal cut into the reunion, not talking to each player heck, I wanted to hear about Seabass and Jenna’s romance (something I STILL can’t make sense of). I agree with whoever said they don’t like how the final starts with Jeff in the studio. IMO it takes us out of the game and makes it feel more like a show. Plus it cuts into the reunion time. It was hard for me to even care too much about this last episode. I really didn’t care that much about who won out of any of them and I felt that way pretty much after Michael left. I do think Dom played a really good game. I didn’t find him any less likable than Wendell and I thought he deserved the win more. I will say that Wendell giving Laurel immunity at tribal was a great move. She probably would have voted for him anyway, but it didn’t hurt. I actually thought that the three finalists performed really well at the final TC. Probably the best I’ve ever seen. No one got overly emotional, they handled the negative stuff well and did a good job selling themselves. I actually thought Wendell did the poorest in front of the jury. I turned to my dd and said, I think it’s going to be between Dom and Laurel (is it Laurel or Lauren? I can’t remember and I’m too lazy to look it up right now...lol). I was clearly wrong. Oh, and yes, Seabass looked stoned out of his mind. Run Jenna, run!!! I also loved how he said he didn’t play strategically (yes, we realize that) and just played with his heart. Really? Please stay the hell out of this game if that’s how you’re going to play. And that might be what frustrated me so much about this season. Too many people not thinking and not playing strategically. They let Wendell and Dom run the show the whole time. Michael was the only one who didn’t. I cannot say enough about my dislike of Angela. As a mom and a vet, I really wanted to like her but she was useless and foolish. When she went to Dom with Donathan and Seabass’ plans, I wanted to throw something at the TV. And let’s talk about Donathan. Gosh I liked him at first but what a nutso loose cannon he ended up being. I still loved that Asia gave him $10,000. So cool what a big fan she is. Makes me sad though that they don’t do America’s favorite anymore. I’m thinking it would have been Michael or Donathan. Okay, let’s hope David and Goliath is a more inspiring season. Until then, my dd and I will go back to our old Survivor marathon that we’re having so much fun watching. Like I said, we’re watching One World with the dreaded Colton and Alicia. By the way, do you guys remember Kat on that season? She looks almost unrecognizabke now. Let me see if I can grab a couple images. Oh, and here are the links for Dalton’s final recaps and Donathan an Sebastian. I couldn’t find Angela’s. I’ll keep looking but link it if you find it first.

I didn’t find him any less likable than Wendell and I thought he deserved the win more. This was my feeling as well. Would have LOVED Michael to win, and hope he comes back in a later season. Probably the best acting Wendell did was when he pretended that Dom would be unhappy with his giving the necklace to Laurel, and Dom played along with it. Laurel owed her spot in the finale to both of them: she should have thought about how Dom could have had HER making fire against Wendell. Orange flag or purple, it would not have made a difference. And I didn't rewind to check, but did his little ploy to treat those people to steak in exchange for potential jury votes pay off?
