ETA: I just checked and I’ve done 27 pages in July so far...I’ll up my goal to 20 as I assume you use goals to try to keep teams even (right?).

I'm in! I didn't reach my goal either but it was fun and got me scrapping probably more than I would have. I will leave my goal the same at 5 and see if I can smash it this month.

(if it's an uneven number of participants, please consider me a "bonus" to add to a team rather than a full member ) don't think like that - even if you don't earn any points, you can motivate your team-mates by cheering them on, commenting on their layouts etc... But I'm guessing that being on the team and seeing the challenges will get you hyped up to earn at least a few points - and seriously, every point counts. I think it was June where the winning team had less then 50 points more than the other team. And there are ALWAYS people who have life get in the way and don't scrap at all even after sisgning up - heck, that was me in April - who knows, it might be me in August too...and no one cares. It's just bragging rights anyway but loads of fun! |

Do we post the completed pages in order to claim points (sheepishly asking because I’ve never gotten around the learning how to that here and that’s the biggest thing holding me back from participating)? you don't have to - you get an extra point for each page you DO share but there's no obligation to do so. This is the first month I've shared - a combination of not having a good way to share and concerns about privacy (I often scrap photos other people took and/or are in).
The way I shared (I don't have a phone) is I scan my albums as I finish them anyway so I posted my scans on FB in albums that I shared only with a handful of people (I do that anyway) but you can get a link to share those albums with other people - on or off FB and I posted the link here. I know there are easier ways if you have a phone and can snap and upload a picture...

I hope you decide to join us! You can play without sharing, but you don’t earn as many points for your team. And the sharing and commenting is a really fun part of the experience. Are you a Flickr member? If you are, you can ask to join the 2Peas gallery and share your projects there. If you are not signed up over there, it’s fairly simple to do. I think you may need a yahoo email address, but once you’re signed up you can enter your regular email address for notications. Even if you have not joined our gallery, or are waiting for approval, you can still link Flickr photos to a post here. If the pic of your project is in a private album on Flickr, you can share it in a message board post without letting any of us into your private album. |
