Ali’s looks like more recycled designs in different product. Anybody else distracted by how pink Brandi's Santa looks? Is it too much nog (to quote Ali)? Rosacea? Did he got into the blush palette someone put on their wish list?  International Peas: the DD pre-order has a $10 shipping fee but is it also $10 if you just order some DD chipboard? That would be crazy expensive if you just wanted some of that...
Also, I found myself dreaming of a gold fabric 6x8 album. Le sigh.

YES! I instantly cringed. I'm not typically a BK fan to begin with (too cutesy) but his sunburn freaked me out right off the bat lol. |

YES! I instantly cringed. I'm not typically a BK fan to begin with (too cutesy) but his sunburn freaked me out right off the bat lol. I totally missed that his face was so red, but now I can't see anything else when I look at it! I've had the same thoughts about BK designs... I actually really love looking at her projects and think they are adorable, but they don't translate to products I would ever use in my album--they are too cutesy & personalized. Like I couldn't put my own style on them because they are so full of personality? Not quite sure if I am articulating my point... but sorta like how some people don't like seeing Ali's handwriting in their album, BK's designs just seem too much like someone else's art than a scrapbooking product that could support my own style. |

She also added another sneak. I guess they are selling gift packaging this year as well. She said gift tags and bags that will be available at a different time than the December Daily release.  More "lifestyle" brand stuff. Typical Inked. They scream ‘straight outta China’ to me. I predict overpriced and terrible quality. That black bag looks like it would scuff and mark so easily. So far I’m not excited by any of these kits. That Santa in FYC kit is terrifying |

DD friends, I come to y'all with a question: does anyone remember whether there was a vintage-looking Christmas collection of recent years that featured a traditional Saint Nicolas figure (with the mitre)? I have a childhood photo with Saint Nicolas (impersonator! imposter!) from when we'd moved for a short sting to a place where they celebrate this funky pre-Christmas feast which I'd love to scrap in my JYC album this year but I'm coming up with zilch so far. I'm not particularly versed in brands like Authentique, Graphic 45 and the likes so it's a bit of a stab in the dark for me so far. I'd prefer a vintage style than buy modern Saint Nicolas scrap goodies from a place like Scrapdelight so if anyone remembers seeing something somewhere, hit me up. I'd be ever so grateful!

[said in House's voice] Ah, c'est gentil de me préserver... ! T'inquiète pas. Je ne m'en servirai pas. Summer storms? It was like the Flood here. The employees came drifting to work and the luckiest had paddles ! (there's always need for exageration, too.) ETA: I saw on the News there were storms up to 150 km/h and some serious floods in Drôme, Gard and Ardèche. Some people are missing. I'm sorry, I didn't know that when I typed. |

 This is a paper from Authenique I love the vintage images as well, but I find it hard to put it in my DD. I simply have a pinterest board full of vintage Christmas images, so I can just look at them whenever.. |

I don't do December Daily, but have an ongoing Christmas album where there's at least a couple of pages each year. I'll be watching for new stuff. I like the look of Feed Your Craft Festive and Fun. I love retro, 50's style Santas, but yes, that one was waaayyy too pink.

sleepingbooty Here is the vaguest suggestion for your St. Nicolas woes..... there was a shop discussed for DD last year that does vintage looking paper bits- but not full lines I don’t think and not a DD kit. But they had lots of ephemera packs, some journaling cards, and maybe some alphas that people were all excited about 🤔 does that ring a bell to anyone? I remember there being a ton of stuff on their site but it was really hard to navigate so I didn’t order anything, but they had loads of unique things. Maybe even a St. Nicolas like that 🤷🏻♀️

hutchfan christinebk AmandaA Thank you all for your help! I am really loving a couple of the Saint Nicolas cut-out shape sets from 32NorthSupplies on Etsy, hutchfan. I'll probably grab one of those. What we need is a company that highlights Krampus, La Befana, Belsnickel and the ilk! I agree, it's time to branch out a little, even if it's just for a few journal card spots on a 12x12 sheet. I've had an easier time for la Befana thanks to all the Halloween collections but finding a Krampus amongst the scrappy Christmas collections seems impossible. Also, I need to experience another Krampusnacht!

mom Merry & Bright looks like it's an off-white shade (possibly very light cream) from what I could see in the sneaks and Mixed Media Event video. The large spine (universal 2-ring) Christmas album from the line is gorgeous though. *heart eyes* |

Especially for people who like old-fashioned European-style skinny Santas not necessarily wearing red I found some cute bottle brush Xmas trees. And advent calendars.
