DH had a real ass for a roommate I have this person every time I am hospitalized, but thankfully, they usually get discharged soon after I get in the room. Except this last time when her son didn't come and get her until 9 pm.

When I was overnight for my breast reduction, I brought a pair of PJ pants... She will likely have a catheter overnight, hospital gown would be better. It is highly unlikely they will leave it in overnight unless there are complications, due to the risk of infection. After my vag hyst they took it out before I woke up. BUT they had to put it back in because I'm weird and whenever I have a catheter my urethra swells and I have a lot of trouble urinating. ETA I see you're done and recovering, great news!

I'd agree with everything already said. I've had abdominal surgery 3 times. Ugh!
Lip balm and lotion for sure. It's so dry! A book, or I preferred my tablet (and earbuds) to watch Netflix. Once the initial drugs wear off, you'll still be sleepy, but it's hard to sleep there. Super loose clothes. You will be super bloated. Slippers or socks. As soon as they let you, walk! It will help so much with the gas/bloat. Trust me.
The one other thing I'd suggest is for the car on the way home. Take a pillow. Its good to hold over the seatbelt, but against your incisions. It cushions the bumps in the road. I also liked to have one close by at home for a week-ish. Sneezing or coughing can be painful, and holding a pillow against you feels good.
Panty liners are also really good to put over your incisions to just cushion them a bit. Feels good between your stitches and clothes.

I'm glad the surgery went well and that you're home!
As someone mentioned above, keep a pillow close by for a week or so to help brace your abdomen for coughing, laughing, getting up from sitting, so many movements use abdominal muscles and yours will be sore, even with a vaginal hydro. Take it easy, let others help out, and rest!

I am glad that the surgery went well and that you are now in the comfort of your own home.
I hope the rest of your recovery goes as well!!
