Linda i like that your zoo page isn't all blacks and browns like so many zoo collections; the bright colors are perfect for a birthday zoo trip!

Thank you stinkerbelle - I struggle with zoo layouts -there are always so many photos and all the same colour range usually. It was fun to go brigher with that one. Here's another from the trip

Here is the facing page. I used Sketch # 11 for this one. It was an afterthought, so I am really happy I managed to get a matching pp to the cs colour, and was able to tie the two together with several elements besides the photos. family @50th 1 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: One page created and shared (2). Linda, your zoo pages are really interesting. I am enjoying the totally different colour palettes. So different from most zoo pages I have seen. And the tilted photos on the one page just adds to the fun.

Linda love that you're continuing to use bright colors on those zoo pages. i really like the purples in the carousel photo op page and the jaunty angle of the photos. i also really like the blocking you did on the carousel page; you got some great photos! the colors really convey a fun ride grammadee great job with my sketches! it's interesting how they're so different but you really made them look great together the colors are gorgeous, especially the chevron cardstock. i love the numerical title in the first page, and the paint swipes behind the title in the second. did you write out the "celebrate" with nuvos? if so, you go girl!!

Linda I love your zoo pages too, great colours and designs and I love that you've not gone and put zebra paper on the second LO, the purple/mauve is perfect! I love the papers on the Carousel page, they are super lush! grammadee I totally see the sketch in the celebrate with us LO, love that chevron paper and they look so good together the aqua and the newspaper, it's fab! I also love that you've got the strip of green in there to match the shirt, it's awesome! stinkerbelle I've commented on most of these in the sketch threads. Love the beards LO, very fierce! Love the owl and the big ribbon, so cool! Monument Valley is amazing! Wow to the background paper but the blue you added is fabulous and the whole LO looks wonderful! Full of love is beautiful! I don't think it's crummy at all and just enough watercolour shows! Great journalling and I love the heart, I want a snuggle too!

linda - wildlife carousel is one of my faves of yours, the colours are soft in the background and the photos just really stand out with the extra colour. And I love the tilt The other carousel layout I also love the colours, they brighten up the darker photos (carousel photos are always dark!!!) grammadee - you are so lucky to have your family, I'm jealous! I love the navy/teal/green colour palate, and a wow! to the handwritten nuvo title! stinkerbelle - "leaf" - love the title work and the circular photo - very interesting page to pour over! "splash" - good on you for getting a bike icon used, and I love the colours. "dream a little dream" - your clusters are wonderful, the birds looking at each other, the brads, and I especially like the slightly off centre placement of your layers and the transparency in there! "awkward", happy sigh for the christmas papers/embellies, it's all so pretty, but it makes me laugh and I'd love to see the photo! "very fierce beards" - oh my gosh now I can't see the owl without seeing it with a beard!!! great colours and use of a floral on a manly page. "so thankful for you 2" is amazing the longer I look at it with the stitching and the leaf and the balanced design and the glittery bits. "so full of love" - awwwww - beautiful layout and I love the story and cat markings! I adore "love" - the stamping, the splatters, the photo strip - love.it.all.

Love how you added the BIG leaf to thankful to work as a mat for the photos! That acorn paper is really nice and the pickup adds just the right touch! the blue really accents the photo on Monument valley! I think the watercolours look great on full of love - sorry you're not happy with it. love the gold on the dark background with the photo strip! Awkward looks great and the photo sounds like it'll fit perfectly. Love the birds on dream and all the arrows! LOVE LOVE LOVE Splash! - the colours, the title, the pin wheel - it's just awesome! So many details on pure girl!

Here is my page for today. Used Sketchtember #14 as my inspiration. Always find FUN by Gramma Dee, on Flickr This is one of my favorite photos of my dd with her dh and little guy. Not sure what I will do for a facing page. Thinking I might just do a collage of all the silly faces this boy makes. Might be able to fit it into Sketchtember #13 if I just pile on a few more photos. Hmmm... Points: one page created & shared (2). Sketch + twist (5). #4 dots (1), #7 tiny talk (1). #12 Nuvo's (1). #21 angled mats (1). #33 I "matted" the photo by leaving some of the white border around it and inking it (1). #38 for the 6x6 papers (1). #44 shine for the paint and the nuvo's (1). Total: 14.

I am so far behind. I will try to catch up before losing my post, which often happens. Linda, I had to chuckle at your little Viking Veterinarian. Now that is innovative!! So cute.Love the way you made the page in candy corn design. Great job on Tom and Jerry. Your colors are wonderful. Love the rustic/country look. I was amazed at your Watching Fireworks page. Our babies/children were so scared of the noise that we had to avoid them for a few years. Looks like you didn't have that problem. Love your Halloween page, even though I hate, hate, hate spiders! The whole page is delightful. kitbop, I love the funny machinations of your dancers. Isn't it great that they have fun together. Great page. I love the diamond/gems shapes. Wow, your Sonic costume is incredible. No wonder he loved it. Love the page, and love the photo of him in action. It's obvious he was happy. Love your colors and those great EP papers. I love their boy papers. msliz, I love your Sketch 16, Painting the rock. Love the circles and love that big rock. Great idea. I can't believe your DD cut off all her hair. LOL I love those beautiful doilies on your February page. The blue floral paper is one of my favorites and I have hoarded a bit. Great use of the sketch. catseatcheese, I think you did a great job using the last of your supplies. The gold XOXO crossing the photo is very eye-catching. I love those gem shapes. Great design. Your wedding page is delightful. I love the colors and your wonderful clusters. Your page with the bear chairs is such a sweet page. What wonderful idea to go with grandparents on a cruise. I know these pages will be heirloom pages as years go by. Love your Green Bay Packers page. I'm sure it was a thrill even if the Packers lost. I love your colorful ponchos! Cool that you got a photo of the street signs. sleepingbooty, I love your Reinbeer pages especially with the explanation. I'd love to see the photos once they are taken and posted in this album. Super cute. KelleeM, I love your Zoo pages. The photos are adorable and I love the design with the leaves and flowers. Great use of the "laced" element. Beautiful pages. grammadee, I love your back to school page.Great use of the star outlines. I love that bus paper and the measuring tape. Perfect colors. On to page 13.
