Then I'll interupt you linda I'm a sucker for a nautical look, and the colours you are using for these tug pages is wonderful, plus I love the icons/flags/nuvos you've added. And such a sweet photocorner on your baby page, light and goes perfectly with your pps. grammadee - your flip-flop baseball pages are stinking adorable! I love love the vertical red strip on page 2, and the dimensional balls on page 1. joyfulnana - love those rounded corners and overlapping squares. Your brain says "grid" but then your eyes look twice. I love those new SS papers, bought the collection myself but have yet to get into them. They look great on your page! msliz - Wonderful layouts - the textures and leaf layers on your big embellishment on the fawn layout are gorgeous and the purple is elegant as becomes a deer WHAT IS THAT PP on your "girls" layout? The top and bottom layers? Small floral? OMG, I'm in love - I want a duvet cover and wrapping paper and a tablecloth made of it! All the different pps on "box" go together so well yet make great lines, and I love the subtle circle. And my fave is "summer" - the neatly lined up pics, the purply wood that goes so well with the colours and denims in your photos, the gorgeous butterflies!

Thank you kitbop - I have a love/hate relationship with nautical pages - probably because it seems like I run out of ways to scrap them. I LOVE your DD pages - those doilies are lush on the first one and that alphabet on the baking page....swoon! I love it. That's going to be a great DD.

msliz - WHAT IS THAT PP on your "girls" layout? The top and bottom layers? Small floral? OMG, I'm in love - I want a duvet cover and wrapping paper and a tablecloth made of it! It's Carta Bella from the Our Family collection. I'm glad I found a way to use it Can you imagine what would happen if some of these paper companies branched into fabric design?! Linda , please FLOOD the Thread! I love it! grammadee , did you pop dot that baseball on top? I love the shadow coming off of it! I have to say, I'm glad Dad moved the truck out of the driveway for the second page photos. The kid with the bat was making me nervous he was going to swing and dent the side of it! kitbop , your pages are really lovely even without photos. I love looking at those DD flip through videos. Any chance you'll be making one after your album is complete?

I have just about finished a 2 pager with 2 Sketches, but still have a few things to add.

I am now just 3 pages behind. grammadee , you have love in the gallery. You are making so many great pages. Love your style! Linda , wow, those are some fancy Lego sets. I love your page and the Lego piece you added. I love the little metallic metal printed with Navy. Cool way to commemorate his honor. I love the little bowl and spatula on the page about your son's new "digs". He will love these pages. Your daughter's pages will bring back lots of memories about her dorm, the campus and even the UCF cupcake! Your designs on your campus pages are wonderful and I'm taking notes for scraplifting since I scrap that same size. I especially love your Little Ducky! Great cards. Using that design for cards was genius. I'm impressed with your letter writing. kitbop , I love your texture paste that mimics the climbing wall. Fabulous double pager. I love the way the banners come together at the center to make a large banner. KelleeM , that is such an adorable little costume with the pinafore. She looks so tiny but looks like she is so into the Halloween scene. I love your little scene with the haunted house. Very sweet double pager. I love the story of Ally's meowing. She's so cute. You don't even need embellishments to make this layout shine. But I love all your little kitties! I had to read your journaling to on your hating cat to my husband. We care for a couple of cats often while our neighbors travel. They absolutely hate us. In fact if we brush past them they attack! We have been doing this for 6-7 years! I guess some cats just want one owner! Adorable page. Love that cat paper. Auntie's little Boo brought back memories. Our first DGD had a shirt like that her first Halloween...she's now married! I loved being reminded of it. Adorable page. Love your use of triangles. Very sweet.

kitbop, christinec68, joyfulnana and grammadee, you have love left in the gallery. So many wonderful layouts you guys have made! Linda, those are really cute Christmas pages. Great stripes and cute use of the Christmas balls. Cute page about the beach clean up. It looks so nice and clean after their work. Nicely designed. I love that beautiful background paper on Another Selfie. The banners hanging below the photo are a great touch. Great design on the Hawk page. I love the palm tree photo. I wish there were palm trees where I live. Beautiful job. Simon has such a cute smile. I love the use of the ruler on this page. Precious baby photo. Does it seem possible that she's now 18? Love your anchor and banners on the ship page. Your son is going to love this album. msliz, I think your photos look lovely even with the cloudy days. I love the collage you have put together with the woodgrain top and bottom border. Beautiful and interesting page. LOL on the Box page. You got some great photos of the experiment. I love the hello paper and the striped borders. Sweet photos of the girls in your family. I love the tiny prints you used on this page. It gives it a sweet, almost vintage feel. Lovely. What wonderful photos you captured of the little deer. Your button flower and the pretty background paper are perfect. I love the Hello Friend sentiment. Were these near your home? Now only 1 page behind. I am beginning to catch up!

Whew, whirlwind day here, all good stuff really finishing with a 3 hour dinner with friends at the pub. Yum! JaneB - I love "week 37" most of all - the skinny photo plays off so well against the horizontal elements, and I love the colours and word tags. "felines" is so artsy, the dotted/textures in the background are spot on (oh, hahahahaha, that's funny, I've had a pint...) and the one offset diamond is just that poke of interest it needs. "Merry christmas" is a gorgeous traditional array. "rainy days work" I love the perspective on the photo as it relates to the scrapbook elements, and the unique colours. "week 39" LOL.OL.OL. "It don't matter now" I love the sketch worked into an embellishment on a smaller scale. "My way" is gorgeous, artistic, and great story telling, very unemotional, celebrating your quirk. "homemade" the titlework is awesome. "winter" is sparse and wintry, I adore the footprints in the snow card. "three" has awesome mattings and the angle on the tag/photo sets off the squareness of the other elements. the card for "over 40" shows great scale of pps and I love the faded splatters on the sentiment/saying. "winter wishes" again uses great matting for drama and contrast, and I love the poem around the square. "oct week 4" the adorable teeny costume scene set against the big polkadot and title...love! nylene - stunning again, your colour choices are warmth and fall, but you don't overwhelm, you get all the proportions perfect. I love the use of the square and rectangular elements! msliz - I love the "beautiful" in the middle of the 4 photos (did not imagine that use of the sketch at all, there are two like this now and I really like it), I love the hearts peeking out behind the photos in the mattes, and the backed mandala/doily is gorgeous, also love the blue hair!!! And "gay" is fab - I love the ribbons/banner, and the horizontal stripes that balance so well with your rectangle and stitching.

And, with these, I have completed all the challenges!!! My last two were "fringe", and "work", and I did that both in this layout. I used sketch # 20 (I squished it together, from a 2 pager to a 1 pager), with "texture" twist (that's texture paste through a stencil for the chicken wire background). Tons of puffy sticker fun. 5+2+15 challenges layout work by kirstendrew, on Flickr And then another december daily pre-plan page to complete sketch #27, with the twist of "new product" being the single ornament with the maple leaf at the top It's the new photoplay christmas line! 5+2+13 challenges. layout dd ornament by kirstendrew, on Flickr

kiwigirl I love your I love today page, especially that work it baby subtitle! The bright colors, nuvos and paint under the title are fantastic and all the cute little bits, especially those owls, just make it even better! WTG on all those points! gooooo kiwigirls! KikiPea love your LO for sketch 10; so bright and colorful with all the fun strips and clusters! Just perfect for a little boy’s birthday page! Love the card, too, great way to use up those extra bits! Linda I swore I commented somewhere on all your college pages and those from your son (maybe sketch threads??); anyway, I’m moving forward with the prayer page. Love the colors and especially that diagonal striped border and simple title! On your opening presents spread, again love that diagonal framing and very smart of you to use the colorblocking templates to speed you along! Perfect colors on your beach clean up page and I love the combo of banners and blocks of paper behind the photos. Those letters do look like a pain! The selfie page titled beauty is just sweet. Love the perfect colors and sentiment! And the hawk page is great, love the circle paper to add some punches of color and I have to say I’m so jealous of all the photos your daughter sends! I complained to my child and she has now sent me 2 sunset photos and a strange chair photo. Not exactly high on my list of scrappy opportunities lol…I’m sure your daughter will love the album so far the simon school page is another perfectly simple page but that large photo really makes an impact! Love the little ruler and other school icons! Love the sweet baby photo on the I made a wish page; the decorative photo corners add such an elegant touch! Love how you matched the cardstock perfectly to bits on the Japanese tug and that cute little anchor! And on the JMSDF tugboats page I love the combo of banner and torn edges, very cool! I *think* I caught up with everyone else in the gallery. My apologies to anyone I missed!!

Why oh why I am always last minute? I only have 4 LOs finished. I don't know how many more I will be making this weekend. Boy. This one was tough. It has been 20 years since my husband died. Her sister and I went to the cemetery on the actual day. We also went to our old neighborhood. It is unrecognizable from the neighborhood of 20 years ago. This little girl is so cute! I really had fun using modeling paste.

Our Life In pages page 1 Chinagirl828 likes to spend time in the Record Lounge. Comfy chairs sound delightful. grammadee had lots of cute little boys just sleeping. KelleeM had an adorable little girl surrounded by the cutest woodland animals. crystalb has a sweet dog that loves belly rubs. JaneB showed us how happy Ian was finding his bowling trophies. linda had a boy following a girl with the title "follow your dreams"... Hmm young love in the making? She also went to a farm. Her family also was holding an alligator. Eww. MDscrapaholic has a very handsome 7th grader. LisaDV I wish I had a young kid at home so I too could paint my windows. Looks like loads of fun. woodysbetty had fun with her cousins at a get together that involved lots of hugs.
