Day 2 everyone! I did this LO last week and it seemed to be very popular so I made a sketch if it and you can do your own version! Here's the sketch I did. Have fun with this one. My grid is 2" squares, of course, make your grid whatever size you like! My twist is to use something old. This will be the twist on all my sketches this month, I want people using up old stash. On the one I did the other week, I used Magic Mesh! It doesn't have to be that old either, as long as it's old to you, something that's hanging around in your stash, dig it out and use it up!

Since my example LO was done last month, to collect the points this month and do the twist I had to do another LO. So here's a 9x12 example. I just did the grid on here and left off the side lines. My old thing is that layered golf bag sticker, I've had it for ages!!! Back to collect points on it later, it's a bit early for me and I need another coffee! Points collected: 18. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for Sketch + Twist, #7, #9, #12, #13, #15, #16, #21, #22, #32 and Sept Stash challenge.

And I did another 12x12 version as well cause I did want to do the grid in Nuvo dots, since everyone thought I had on the original. I don't recommend it, this was my second attempt and there's still loads of mistakes in it. It took a long time too! My old thing is that Seriously word, I've had those AmyT Thickers so long they're changing colour! Back for points later *yawn* Points collected 15. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for Sketch + Twist, #7, #12, #13, #21, #23, #31, #40 and Sept Stash Challenge.

kiwigirl both your takes on this sketch are gorgeous, I especially love the soft colours in the second version. I technically feel like it's a bit late to start creating right now but my brain is already thinking of pages I could make with this sketch.

I don't recommend it, this was my second attempt if you struggled, no way am I trying! But yours looks amazing and no way would I have guessed you made mistakes. I love that version btw - the pastelly colours with the big black bold title. Yup.

I love that version btw - the pastelly colours with the big black bold title. Yup. You have to go in 2 stages or else you're gonna wang up the dots with your hand, so vertical lines and then horizontal when the first have dried. I did one lot fine, no problems but the second lot, lots of stupid shapes came out of that bottle. God knows why I chose black, that colour never plays nice with me!

My take. dLookingThisGoodIsHardWork by Lisa Davolt, on Flickr And I added in the twist. Many of the items are from a designer that when I first started to learn digital (2007) she had a buy my store sale. She sold all of her kits for like $30. I didn't even know who she was and I bought it. I've only used her items a few times that first year. Heck, most of her files are still zipped. haha.

I really struggled with this but I finally decided to do a title page for my Legoland Florida album - lots of 'twist' - the stickers, the brads, the textured paper are all old.

Oh how you challenge me, kiwigirl !! I had to make a bunch of changes to this because I wasn’t happy with the first version. And my twist...those charms have been around since about 2000! Also, see those fibers on the tag? I have hundreds of different ones!!!!

I don't think I did this justice today but I enjoyed playing around with effects in Photoshop! I had the phrase "pieces of eight" in my head, so went with "pieces of jane" Nothing old except the photo and that doesn't count. I think I'll try again with the grid kiwigirl, when i have some photos and inspiration
LisaDV I love your page, it's fantastic! I had the same idea about old digital kits but then couldn't land on anything I really liked today. Great idea to skew the grid into diamonds, I might pinch that!
Linda that's a great title page! It's so bright and fun.
KelleeM your beach page is lovely, and look at the sequin shaker!

Here is my take. I loved the sketch but this took forever for me. However, I love it! The picture does not do it justice but I am tired now. The background is white cardstock, the lines are black washi and the colors are yellow/blue/green.

So many awesome grid pages! And all so different! Love that you put the squares on point, LisaDV. And the Lego rectangles are perfect, Linda. Using washi was brilliant, crystalb, and I love the b&w TN page JaneB. And those pieces overlapping the lines are really fun, KelleeM
