Welcome to day 4 of SKETCHTEMBER! I hope you’re all having as much fun as I am I’ll be your host on Tuesdays, so let’s dig right in. Here’s a double page sketch for you all, made many moons ago by yours truly. stinkerbelle38 by sadkid, on Flickr For the twist, use flat stickers for your title, the older the better.
In my example, I used only the right side of the sketch. mrs. waldeier by sadkid, on Flickr I can't wait to see what you come up with! Be sure and post your pages below, and if you're a team player, share with us in the sharing thread too grammadee

So, I've decided I should probably just scrap with this Doodlebug collection from now on. Seriously, I just throw LOs together with it, I don't know why and I don't know how but I'm so fast with it. I must buy more! I too just did the right hand side and I kinda looked at the sketch and didn't even see that it was meant to be two photos so I was going on my merry way and then looked again and went oops! I think I nailed the large title though Those pink alpha stickers are my twist, they're Simple Stories ones and I don't know how long they've been in my stash but they're old. I feel like I didn't buy them so they probably came in a Studio Calico kit and I think I cancelled that sub in 2010 when they pissed me off one too many times. Claiming 22 points for this. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for sketch + twist. #3, #4, #7, #9, #12, #17, #21, #25, #31, #37, #38, #40 + Bonus Point, #44, #49 and Stash Challenge - Washi & handwriting.

Thanks for the two page sketch, stinkerbelle. I always seem to fill up all the “white space” on my page, maybe this will help me just let the photos do the talking. Love your take on it. The scissors sticker is really cool, and your “flat” stickers have a design that somehow gives them a textured look. And kiwigirl, that page is GORGEOUS, love how those colours pop on the black, and your title is so dramatic!

kiwigirl - that collection just POPS on black - love it! I did page 2 of the sketch...my title slopes but these letters don't unstick very well so it'll have to keep on sloping, lol. Club Scrap alphas from c. 2002 I think - is that old enough? <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 26.5px; height: 34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none;left: 5px; top: 134px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_91313029" scrolling="no" width="26.5" height="34"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 26.5px; height: 34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1252px; top: 134px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_33086650" scrolling="no" width="26.5" height="34"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 26.5px; height: 34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 5px; top: 1749px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_52896350" scrolling="no" width="26.5" height="34"></iframe> <iframe style="position: absolute; width: 26.5px; height: 34px; z-index: -9999; border-style: none; left: 1252px; top: 1749px;" id="MoatPxIOPT0_65766075" scrolling="no" width="26.5" height="34"></iframe>

stinkerbelle, that's a great sketch. I love both of your takes on it. The first is a perfect school page with the star punched border and its patterns and icons. I like how you used an enamel dot for the period on Mrs. I love the 6x12 funkiness, it's fresh and so perfect for a tween/teen. I want to copy it. kiwigirl, that paper just pops against the black. Love the line of embellies along the bottom aligned with the photo. Linda, love your exclamation point between the photos. Fab photos too.

Linda I reckon you should write on the back the story of the letter stickers, that would make me laugh if I found it later on sometime! And I love the exclamation point! stinkerbelle, love your 6x12 page, that title is fabulous! I love the journalling strips and the tab with the date, it's lush!

I did another desktop I thought with a fairly simple sketch it wouldn't take me too long... And then I went a bit daft! The little gap to the left is where my Windows bar sits, I got it wrong the first time and covered up Boo! Supplies from all over the place but mainly Wicked Halloween 2017 Bundle from The Hungry JPEG which has graphics from around 8 different designers. Lots of recolouring to make it all work, but it looks bloomin' fantastic on my screen

I turned it on it's side. DD15 likes this one because of all the rainbow colors. I'll have to do that more often For the twist, I used Colorbok stickySTAX. They're ancient. I couldn't even tell you how old.

I used the left side of the sketch for this layout of my hometown. I put the name of my town at the bottom as the large title, but cropped the picture for safety reasons. (Don't want y'all comin' for me! LOL)

Loving all the oranges I have been seeing this month. Cool idea to pair the orange with that soft blue, MDscrapaholic. Love those scalloped edges, too. She is a sweetheart, KelleeM. I like how you separated the photo strip from the cs with the stripes and dots that pick up the photo colours, and I love all the little images on the journaling card. Love your whole page, kitbop, but those sassy punkins for the WIN!!! And all the photos and other elements really pop against that black bg. Think I got the rest of the creations in the Gallery.

Here is mine for this challenge: Facing Fear by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I replaced the title with the big preprinted icon and a small cluster. Claiming 5 points for this, plus any other points I can grab from the other challenges. To get the stickers for my title I had to cut the letters free from the sticker word ADVENTURE (changing one of the E's to an F).

This one has been sitting on my desk for over a week with nothing cut or stuck. It's embellished very simply but dang it took a long time to work out where to put those few things!
