The front is OK but OMG, the inside of house hurts my eyes. I would not be able to live in that house. It is an overkill to my sensory system. How does someone relax in a house with so much bright colors, and weird designs? I agree with another OP, I would buy the property for the land and just tear down the house and build a new one. This is the first real estate listing on this forum that had made me want to post my opinion about it.

Makes my colorful house look boring! When we moved in here most of the walls were shades of beige and mud. So MIL and I went to town. We have: Pink front hallway Dark purple staircase wall Yellow back hallway Yellow/orange kitchen Bright green laundry room Sponged blue downstairs toilet to look like water and then clouds Dark red dining room Orange/terracotta sponged family room (SW theme) Bright green den (my old craft room, different green to laundry room) One teal bedroom One purple bedroom One dark green bedroom And stenciling on off-white walls in the living room.
Sponging and ragging were popular back then, and it turned out I was good at those. I also was pretty good at stenciling. Didn't know that until I started doing it.
LOL, our rainbow house! Too bad we sold it without it going on the market or I'd share the listing with you lot.

It's hard to even see the potential in that house! This is what I was thinking, too. My boss flips foreclosures as a side business. I've walked into some pretty gross places and been able to see the bones of the house and its potential. I really struggled with this house. I couldn't get past the artwork watching me in the front room. ETA: Alright, now I'm ticked and disappointed. EVERY light fixture in the place appears to be normal, blah, every day big box store lighting. They either pulled out their artsy light fixtures and replaced them with boring stuff. Or, they failed to complete their mission of tile all the things.

All this, and it is in a mandatory HOA. hahahah That HOA didn't govern the interior (I know that HOAs do not control the interiors).

Well, I like tile mosaic art and I even like funky houses, but OH MY FREAKING EYES THEY BLEED on this one! I even have friends whose homes are art pieces themselves and they wouldn't do this! I even looked up the owner on HCAD and I have NO idea who she is - must either be an artist in her own mind or uses a nom de plume for her art. (I do think the stairs are cool though - slippery, but cool)
ETA: Hmm, right outside Barker reservoir. I wonder if it flooded - not that it would hurt all that tile!
Also ETA: Same realtor as the cool-as-all-getout Height house, and my sources say she (realtor) is an art car person, bet the owner is too.

It looked like one of the bathrooms had shells applied along the cabinetry? Wouldn't you run the risk of breaking them if you leaned against them?
That house looked okay on the outside - the front at least - but the inside is horrendous. And I can't imagine anyone wanting to spend the time and money to strip off all the awful stuff.

I had to stop looking. It was making me ill. Too much color and too many patterns. I like the price though.

Wow. I'm usually a fan of quirky, but this is just overwhelming. I saw something very similar on a show about interiors on Netflix. The woman just placed tiles in whatever patterns she liked. This looks like that.
I particularly hate the way tile is growing up over the doors like mold.

Is the house sinking because of the extra weight?!? Lots of color for sure.

I keep wondering though if the picture does the front door justice. It is HOA so it may not look out of place, but I do wonder if that door isn't brighter than it looks in the picture. I didn't notice it to start with, but after seeing the inside it really stood out to me.

It must have cost a fortune to buy and install all that tile. I wonder if the homeowners were also owners of a tile store?

It reminds me of the Bowling Ball House in Gulfport, FL. Only that house is artistic, quirky, unique.
This house is just tile and bad taste overload.

Well you just never know what may be inside an unassuming frontage. Smh.
I wonder how many of the neighbours knew it looked like that.

Are those pompoms glued to the bathroom vanity?!
I totally want to buy this house and use it for a Dungeons and Dragons Nerd Gala.
