Beautiful page joyfulnana! I love the subtle swiss dot background and how you've pulled the same polka dot pattern in that star and the narrow strip.

I have a bunch of 3 photo layouts to make, so I'll definitely be using this for one of them. Love your example, especially the big star and title at the bottom

Hey, joyfulnana. Great sketch! And I didn’t use many inks on my pages last week, so I am happy to see this twist. I love your take on it. What a cutie, and the orange/black colour combo is really striking. The tilted photo really adds interest, and it’s worth another point!

Thanks guys! kiwigirl - those brads are actually nuvos that you can barely see and I forgot to claim a point for! Thanks grammadee! Looks like I shorted myself 2 points for this one and I don't earn enough points to be shorting myself!

I had to modify this one a bit - just didn't have quite enough space on my 8.5x11 page for the journalling etc... and yes, I'm still using that Hallowe'en kit...are you all tired of it yet?

I think you're rocking the Halloween kit Linda! Keep up the great work. Love how you've got all those photos on the smaller canvas but still space to breathe and I love those little pumpkins!

I enjoyed this one, I broke into my new haul of Highline and I am loving the PL cards from Flutterby to use as photo fillers for all these sketches with loads of photos on! I don't have a lot of photos to scrap, they're usually selfies cause I don't have much else to take photos of, that's why you see the same photos over and over - I'm only scrapping for me for the creative outlet Taking 21 for this one. 1 for a LO, 1 for sharing, 5 for LO + twist (I inked all the edges), #3, #4, #7, #9, #12, #15, #17, #21, #22, #31, #40, #42, #44 and Sept Stash Challenge - handwriting and pre-made title.

3rd attempt to photograph this...1st time I had misspelled wedding...now I can't get it straight. Still getting inspiration from these challenges to finish all the grands albums with wedding pics. this is probably the closest to my layout actually looking like the sketch that I ever get. Thanks and I'm enjoying everyone's layouts.

@elaynef love the shell paper and how you've tucked the journaling into the little space created by your photos.

I just got around to this sketch but my take deviates quite a bit from the original. Woops! I didn't realise how far from the sketch I was straying...
I decided to focus only on the upper third of the sketch for my mini album spread. Then dropped one of the rounded mats because it was starting to look like too much was trying to happen (especially with the busy pattern paper I picked). Stretched my mat all across the page, then lifted the title up and somehow managed to work in a big star! I promise I used the sketch as an inspiration though! Pinky swear and all. (it just doesn't look like it in the end )
"Reinbeer" about how I order a few imported Christmas beers for my mother. I worked the twist into double page by inking up the reindeer paper sides (only the cut/bias sides) with some light grey ink and adding that stamped sentiment on the left page.

Love it when a sketch leads to so many different interpretations! kiwigirl , as usual, your page is full of life and fun. You use so many happy colours and patterns that scare me! Love the big circles and the stars, the purple with the soft orange. That sentiment card is spot on. And I love how your journaling leads right into the title. Motivating in more ways than just scrapping! And in contrast, your page Chinagirl828 is all muted greys and soft colours, and looking at it feels peaceful. I commented in more detail in the Gallery, but I wanted to mention the colour palette here. Such a counterpoint to kiwigirl 's page! Love the sand/ shell background and the pop of teal on yours, @elaynef . Looks like joyfulnana 's sketch was perfect for you to get all those photos onto the 8 1/2 x 11 page. Your grandkids are going to LOVE those albums! And I love your redintion, sleepingbooty . Once a photo or two and some journaling gets onto these pages, it will very much represent this sketch. Great pp choice. LOVE your title!!! And your colour choices are going to be perfect once those reinbeers appear on the LO. And what a GORGEOUS page, msliz! LOVE the colours, the lush patterns, and how the doilies help the photos stand out from it all! I do 12 x12 and two page LO's but I have printed off #13 and I am hoping to combine this sketch with another from Sketchtember and see where that takes me. And getting inky is definitely in my wheelhouse. The pages I created while away from home have been pretty basic, but looking forward to adding in more now that I have all my pretties at my fingertips.

linda I love this page, and you halloween kit too. You are getting a lot of mileage from it! those little pumpkins are so cute! kiwigirl I love your sense of humor and love those sentiments lol. Your clusters of stars and nuvos is so lush! @elaynef that glittery title sets off the photos so well! You did a great job adapting that to a smaller size, you family is beautiful! Hahaha ReinBeer sleepingbooty I love it! I am really enjoying seeing the smaller size you scrap. This album is going to be amazing when it's done. msliz I love the way the you cooridated the pp with your daughter's clothing. It looks great and I love the doilies peeking out. I love seeing everyone's take on the sketch, maybe especially when it takes on a life of its own

If I don't comment on your LO it's because I know I've done it elsewhere! Chinagirl828 WOW! I love that grey striped paper, I bought many sheets of that one. It's just the perfect colour and size stripe isn't it! I love the stars and circles papers and that little cluster on the right hand side with the word strips and stars is just perfect! msliz love your papers! The black and white stripe is lush and those doilies just set everything off, it's wonderful! stinkerbelle and you used stripes too, I love it, especially with the floral paper and those arrows and birds, so lush!

Linda I really like the addition of the white with the traditional Halloween colors; it brings so much attention to your photos! Sometimes shrinking down a sketch can be a bugger, eh? kiwigirl I love all the silly sentiments on your page the background is gorgeous, especially mixed with the bold black and I love all your dots and stars! Great photo too! @elaynef I really like how you’re using all the beachy elements in this album! The blue matting around the photos really makes them pop against the neutral paper and I love that you used glitter alphas even on a boy page sleepingbooty I think your interpretation is perfect! The paper is perfect for the title, of course and the stamping is a perfect sentiment which made me laugh. Do we dare ask what reinbeer is??
