I cannot believe we are already at the 21st! I have another Shimelle Lane sketch for you this week. Using a Large photo! (or group together every smaller ones) And you will probably not be surprised to discover this weeks twist is Autumn! Anything Autumn - photo, colors, sayings etc.... This is the layout I created using the sketch. Used my Cricut to cut out the twinkles and circle and moon from the black and backed it with the glitter paper. This is one of the favorite costumes my son had. He was a fallen piece of the night sky! Pretty clever for a 7 yr old.

Thanks for this sketch - I have heaps of 8x12 photos still to be scrapped for my wedding album. Here's a 10 minute page using one of them:

Thanks for the sketch for larger photos, DawnMcD. Love how you mixed it up by flipping it and using the swoops line. Awesome “ten minute page” Chinagirl828. Elegant and beautiful.

I have the black cardstock already in the album with the photo, and I have kit(ish) of supplies that I'm pulling from as well as my stash. Everything on this page except the doily came from that kit which made it faster to choose things. It also helps that there's not much real estate left on the page.

This is my take on the sketch, and it took longer than it looks! I used the Lynn Grieveson Fade Out {No. 2} Template and elements from the Destination Vacation kit by Word Art World.

I can’t print anything bigger than 5 by 7 so I improvised. Thanks to stinkerbelle for the great page idea! My dh was so happy to see “my” cat on a layout.

AussieMeg that main photo is stunning! I love this page! KelleeM I know it's wrong, but I kind of want to laugh over this. Onyx is a beautiful kitty, even if he does seem to hate you. I love the title block and the kitty paper behind your photo - that's a great way to fill this space.

I thought I'd do a second layout with this sketch, this time using a heap of smaller photos. I decided to do a "year in review" type of layout for my 2017 photos. This took me bloody ages to do! I used: Stitching by Anna White Paint splatter from the 'Painting Rainbows' kit by Fayette Designs Photo mask by Lindsay Jane

LOVE that year in review page, AussieMeg! The photos leaking outside the frames is a really cool technique. Here is my page for this challenge. Managed to make this work for the facing page to #25. My photo is not as big, but I tried to stretch it with a large mat. Got some leaves for the autumn twist, so 5 points for this! The title was fun to make, and while it fits this sketch, it will also fit the Yuge challenge as well. Will add that in when I count up my points later. Fall photo shoot BC 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

This is my first time not doing a twist...but I really wanted to use a collage for the big photo (since I have no huge photos) and these photos did NOT lend themselves to "autumn" I may try again to get the twist component!!! layout alotofdance recital by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I finally got this sketch done. I'm not 100% happy with it but it's done and in the book And for some reason, this particular red scans as pink - it's red in person.

grammadee I love how you balanced the photo/paper block with a similar sized block of title/embellishment. That swash of colour is gorgeous. kitbop these photos are beautiful and I love the photo block. The different coloured doilies are the perfect embellishment. Linda I did wonder for a moment on your choice of pink cardstock The simple flag embellishment is perfect and I love the story behind his jacket. msliz the background floral is beautiful with these photos - I love how you've let is take the place of embellishment. Lovely!

msliz I love the floral paper, fun stripes, tag for the title and that you turned it sideways to work for your photos! Linda I think your page is great! I love how you included the flag and kept it simple in contrast with the very busy patch kitbop love your photo collage and the cool doily + banner combo and the nuvo border and well ok, I love it all! grammadee I love how you used the large mat to mimic the large photo shown in the sketch, and your fun mixed media-y title! AussieMeg your year in review page is just stunning! I love every bit of it! KelleeM yay, you did it!! I love how this page turned out; perfect products and that photo cracks me up, he’s definitely got that “I’m plotting an accident for you soon” look on his face (also, black cats are soooo hard to photograph but you did a fabulous job with it!)
