Wow. I wonder if or when the other news outlets will pick this up and to what extent they will delve into this.

Actually, there's a third. This one was the second. Michael Avenatti tweeted that he is now representing ANOTHER woman.

I think that this second (ETA: and now third?) accusation might finally start changing some minds and they'll decide he's more trouble than it's worth. I hope I'm not wrong.

There are other people Trump could choose. He needs to let Kavanaugh go.

Something tells me that there will be more..BUT it won't matter...he'll get appointed. Fuckers I don’t know. Maybe he’ll be easier to impeach later. Republicans had plenty of other more moderate choices to chose from but chose Kavanaugh I’m guessing because he’s a promised deal, a pay for play like everything else in this administration. I highly doubt he’ll fulfill a lifetime seat. This is the evangelicals last hurrah. Their numbers are shrinking and the youngest generation will be the most educated generation in US history. #science

And **BOOM** goes the dynamite. Let him go Republican party. This nominee is never going to be good for you. Don't worry. Plenty of other conservatives to nominate.

I can't see Kavanaugh surviving a vote with these kind of stories out there now.
Judge's own writing has already confirmed the atmosphere of their high school and college years.

There are three now. Ramirez was number two and Avenatti has a third woman who has found the courage to speak.

Good. I'm over this shit. I'm so glad women (and men) are speaking up against these jackasses. I had a patient tell me last week (discussing the news) that she was so sad this was happening. That we all make mistakes in our youth. Umm..no. Sexual assault isn't a "mistake". You don't accidentally do it. That shit is in your core. It's part of your moral upbringing. And that says a lot about a person.

There are other people Trump could choose. He needs to let Kavanaugh go. Remember this all goes back to Trump wanting a justice who doesn’t think a sitting president can be indicted or charged. That’s why they’re fighting so hard for this one. They don’t care if he set puppies on fire last week as long as he can work inside the court to keep Trump safe. Meanwhile, Mueller’s in a room somewhere doing his thing.

Did you see this NY Times article about Kavanaugh's yearbook? Absolutely disgusting. The article is lengthy, here's a snippet...

Can you believe anyone would try and explain it away as nice boys making references to innocent dates? The photo in the article of all of the football players and their smug little faces made me want to punch a wall.

Renate is one of the women that signed his initial letter of support. I think she is feeling a little differently today. How does he have an iota of credibility left? Doesn't sound like he clearly this version of events with her ahead of time.

And sorry to duplicate--I skimmed that thread, but apparently not well enough! ooh, I didn't see that in the other thread, either. It doesn't take much imagination to figure out what that phrase "Renate Alumnus" means... the only thing to wonder is whether it was consensual or not. and she says she never even kissed him. Somehow I don't think the guys made ALL that stuff up... it sounds like they were real winners when they were in school. /s

Amazing blog post by Courtney Kendrick: "This post is heavy. It collides with the Kavanaugh hearings, the bravery of Christine Blasey Ford and some recent public struggles of my own. There is talk of rape, assault and religious neglect. It is thick with themes of Mormonism, and the generational abuse in that particular system as sustained by women. Though I post it willingly, I realize many readers might feel that it is a fairly raw account of my life. It's not for the faint of heart, except that I wrote it for the faint of heart--so they can grow stronger. Yoni blessings.... You see, like many women, I have tried standing up to abuse, and contrary to whatever the masses think you "should have done" the truth is: there is no way to win. You could fight back and die. You could bring up repulsive behavior and lose your job. You could resist and end up socially scarred. You can do nothing and live broken for years and years. Having left a toxic marriage, I can spot an abusive husband from housetops away, and yet I still freeze in the face of mistreatment. Despite it's overwhelming pervasiveness (you would almost consider it "normal" if you didn't know better) sexism continues to shock me at times--particularly when I expect better. How about that?" www.cjanekendrick.com/
