I'm feeling a little more optimistic. I think that this second (ETA: and now third?) accusation might finally start changing some minds and they'll decide he's more trouble than it's worth.

I don’t know. Maybe he’ll be easier to impeach later. Republicans had plenty of other more moderate choices to chose from but chose Kavanaugh I’m guessing because he’s a promised deal, a pay for play like everything else in this administration. I highly doubt he’ll fulfill a lifetime seat. This is the evangelicals last hurrah. Their numbers are shrinking and the youngest generation will be the most educated generation in US history. #science

Remember this all goes back to Trump wanting a justice who doesn’t think a sitting president can be indicted or charged. That’s why they’re fighting so hard for this one. They don’t care if he set puppies on fire last week as long as he can work inside the court to keep Trump safe.

How does he have an iota of credibility left? Doesn't sound like he clearly this version of events with her ahead of time.
