Loved Match Game; good memories!!! I liked lots of game shows when I was a child -- Pyramid, Joker's Wild, TPIR, Name That Tune, Family Feud, Concentration was the *bomb*.
I'm kind of surprised that no one mentioned the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, the early days before ABC ran it into the ground. I was a member of a fanatical group of trivia nuts who actively practiced the phone game and trivia quizzes in their efforts to get on the show, so as a result, I knew a lot of people who got on. They called themselves the Jipters because one early member said he was "jipted" by the phone game. He had actually just messed up putting the answers in the correct order. (Remember? Originally, to get on the show, you had to call a particular number and take a quiz really fast to get into the pool of qualifiers, and then they would just randomly choose contestants and pay their way to NYC.) Then they started doing the tests in big cities. I passed that blasted test twice but never got the call to go to NYC. I did have a good time in Miami, though.

Jeopardy, of course! This summer DH & I really enjoyed Hollywood Game Night. As far as older game shows, it's Match Game all the way!

Jeopardy is my all time favorite. I also used to love the show Password, which was on in the sixties. My grandfather and I used to watch it after I got home from school. My husband used to work with a guy who won the college tournament on Jeopardy and then went on to win the tournament of champions that year. He once told me "you know you are a nerd when you arrive on the beach for spring break and all your friends head for the wet t-shirt contest but you head for the tent that says "try outs for college jeopardy."

Another old Password fan. Used to watch with my mom - we had the box game and played all the time, especially waiting in restaurants for the food to come. Match Game, the old Hollywood Squares - all good stuff!

I love Wheel of Fortune!! I have always loved it. Jeopardy has been okay.. I don't love it but I don't hate it. It usually makes me feel stupid...
I love The Price is Right but probably because my mamma watched it... and I have watched it on/off for year.. Mainly off because I work.
Family Feud is always a good one.. old or new... Love Steve Harvey.. but love watching the old ones with Richard Dawson... also didn't mind it when that guy from Home Improvement hosted it...
There was one I really liked but I can't think of it.. Wack a Mole??? I know that isn't the name.. but it reminds me of that... You had to hit a timer... GEEZ.. It might come to me.

SOoooo.... Chandler picks the Google card.. did they EVEN know what Google was?? LOL That's a good question. I decided to see who came first, and it looks like google was registered in 1997, but launched in September 1998. That episode aired 1-15-98.
So funny that that word would be used at essentially the same time.

Wasn't there a game show with B list type celebrities and their spouse? It was men vs. women and it was about how well each knew the other? The other half of the spouse team was off-stage and appeared on monitors???
ETA: It was Tattletales and the host was usually Bert Convy.
