When I'm at work, I'm always thinking of a list of things to do in the evening. Once I get home, I take my dog outside, relax for about an hour, make dinner, clean up kitchen, make my lunch for next day, maybe wash clothes, text my daughters, usually go on my laptop, and attempt to clean a room (but usually run out of energy).
Thank you for this post! Sometimes, I feel like I'm lazy bc I don't get much accomplished in the evenings. I work with early childhood special needs students. I'm physically and emotionally drained when I leave school. I need my evenings to relax and recharge for the next day.

We grab dinner out and run any errands. If there are no errands and we have leftovers, we stay home, hang out with the dogs, watch tv, and iPad surf. I'll do light gardening at least once during the weekdays.

Make dinner, eat and talk with dh about our day. Throw in laundry while he cleans up the table, make our lunches. I then workout for an hour then shower. Then we talk to my dd on FaceTime for a few minutes. At 8:00 we turn on the tube. DH gets ready for bed (showers, changes etc...) at 9:00, then he’s in bed by 9:30. I stay up much later and usually watch shows and peruse the internet. I head to bed between 11:30 and midnight and then read for a bit til my eyes get tired.
We were just talking tonight that we need to get out and do “something” at least one week night this winter, but my dh talks a lot. Lol He is truly a homebody and neither of us see great at night while driving. Add in rain or snowy roads and I see a lot of excuses being made to not go anywhere.

After dinner, we usually watch TV. Between Sky on Demand and Netflix, we can usually find something worth watching. Friday and Saturday we'll watch the soccer. I also usually knit while we are watching.
Sunday evenings, I go out to my SnB meetup. Once in a while, we'll go out for dinner.

Tv. Husband isn’t up for much of anything after a his “10” hour day. By which I mean 12 to 13 hours. I might do laundry, sometimes I clean the tiny bathroom. We both get home around 7-7:30pm. After we've eaten, there isn't much evening left before 10:30pm bedtime. DH is another who works 12-13 hour days, and he needs his wind-down time. So for us it's catching up with Facebook or emails, finishing with TV (usually something silly, never sport).

I'm just happy to be home because most regular weeks I'm only home two evenings. I tutor one night and go to yoga two other nights. When I'm home I'll be doing laundry and chatting with my husband. I'd love to read, but too often I'm too tired to concentrate. Love getting in to bed early to watch a streaming show. It's early to bed most nights.

I watch YouTube videos, watch something on Netflix or Hulu with dh or play a game on my iPad. I’m boring and am usually asleep by 8:00 since I get up at 3:30.

As little as possible. If I've been at school all day I usually get home by 3:30 or 4:00. I take the dog out, get changed, clean up from breakfast, get the mail, maybe put in some laundry, fix dinner, etc. After dinner is done I am not moving to do anything. I sit in front of my laptop and browse, play Runescape (online game), and watch either TV or Netflix. Lately I'm feeling the need for a mini-binge of "West Wing". A mini-binge will be a fling through my favorite episodes rather than a from-the-beginning binge which I did not too long ago. If I'm at the hospital on-call, which is usually a 12-hour shift 8:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., I do rounds which might take two hours, then I do the exact same thing there as I do at home... lay back with my laptop and browse, play Runescape, watch Netflix. lol.

I’m glad to see I am normal. When I get home between 6 and 630, I have to feed my dog, walk my dog, make my dinner, eat dinner and by that time, it’s usually about 730. I check my email, check Facebook, check Instagram… Play a few games. Then I pretend like I’m going to watch TV, but I really just fall asleep on the couch, wake up a few hours later with a horrible back ache, walk my dog again and go to bed. I am completely exhausted in the evenings. I wish I had more energy, but I work HARD during the day.

Walk in the door from work and start dinner. While that's going, start laundry. Walk the dogs. Review DS's homework. Clean up after dinner. Typically I have work to do/finish or I'll clean a room so I don't have to do it on the weekend. If I'm lucky, I may get an hour to watch TV before going to bed at 9pm (I get up at 5am).

Seriously....all teachers work hard but kindergarten teachers get an extra ring in their halo. I subbed in a kindergarten this year in the 2nd week of school. O.M.G.

We are retired so our days are our own so to speak. Depending on what we have done through the day depends on dinner requirements but after that clean up, do some crafting - quilting or scrapping, maybe return phone calls, watch tv (depending on what's on), check emails, Pinterest and of course 2peasrefugees and when I finally get into bed I read for awhile before going to sleep.

Not much of a TV person, though it is usually on for Dh who loves westerns. I feel like Marshall Dillon, Festus and the Cartwrights are distant relatives! I am pretty good at tuning the TV out if I am in the same room. I read, surf the web (Peas and FB), email, watch YouTube videos, usually HGTV home sale/remodel stuff or videos by a few of my favorite SB designers. I am waiting for the next season of "The Crown," and I did watch a lot of Arkansas baseball this season.

I either go to a yoga class or practice yoga at home, meditate, scrapbook or read. DH works long hours so he is ready to sit in his recliner and watch tv or be on his phone. I feel bad since I do not enjoy watching tv so we really don’t do anything together. But we’re both fine with doing our own thing. We always have.

My evening starts around noon. I fart around, walk the dogs, fart around, run errands, fart around, make dinner, fart around, scrap, fart around, watch tv. You should probably see a doctor, all that gas can't be good.
I'm pretty boring. Fight with everyone about what they want for dinner, make dinner, clean up (I can't relax till the kitchen is clean), take dog for a walk, water my plants, throw in a load of laundry (I try to do a load a night), and watch TV with dh (unless he picks a stupid show, then I sit there on my ipad).

—Cooking, ordering or going out to dinner.
—-feeding and caring for dog —Sometimes some sort of chore I can manage like load of laundry. Sometimes not much until the weekend. —taking kid to hockey or whatever sport/activity they are doing —running errands if I have to —either spending time with my mom or calling her most days. —-sometimes grading but I often leave later from work instead —occasionally reading —-most nights digital coloring —-and/or watching a series on Netflix/hbo/Hulu/prime —checking Facebook and reading articles. —putting kids to bed —-sometimes going to to the gym but it’s been awhile.
I need and usually take at least three hours to myself a night (Netflix and coloring type stuff) or I go crazy. I don’t sleep much.

Now that the kids are older (17 & 19), my evenings are pretty calm and quiet. Lots of time to relax and watch tv, make dinner, scrapbook (something I’m reminding myself to do in the evenings now with more free time), more tv. Of course there’s also playing with out dogs/cats and all the things that come with them.

Make dinner, clean up from dinner, take a shower...these are always a given.
After all of the above have been completed, I might read, or catch up on some YouTube channels, Netflix, Hulu, etc...usually this is done in between doing some laundry.
At least once a week I give myself a manicure and if I'm feeling ambitious I will also do a pedicure.
We are early risers so go to bed early...typically between 8 - 9 PM.

depends on the day... if it's "my" day with the kids, activities, dinner, help with homework, maybe a chat on the phone in between, laundry, clean up kitchen and prep any stuff for the kids for the following day.
we got rid of cable so youngest DS and i usually curl up in my bed and watch 1/2 hr or 45 mins of a show. we have already watched WWII in Colour, Lost in Space and are now "enjoying" Ken Burns Vietnam. DS is 11 and a bit of a history buff.
if it's *not* my day with the kids... i just try to spend a bit of time with them and then i get out of dodge. i will go to a friend's, a coffee shop, go fo a walk, an office event down the street (even if not interested) - anything just to get out. i am sure when i get my own place, i will become much more discerning since i am more of a homebody.
at this point, i would go to church or an AA family support meeting (not religious and don't have a family member that is an alcoholic) just to get out of the house.

Cook dinner, clean up, read, watch tv, play online, scrapbook.
And various other mom/dog mom/wife duties.
I'd say I read or play online mostly for my entertainment. Dh watches tv and I'm here but doing the other thing. I've just recently taken up scrapping again and actually have my own space which is awesome. So sometimes I go down there for an hour and organize, plan etc. I haven't actually scrapped much as I'm waiting to get my prints from vacation and am going to do a vacation album for my first foray back into the craft.

After dinner is cleaned up, we mostly read or watch tv. DH has a long work day and his disability leaves him in pain. He has to put his feet up and relax, and I join him. We hang out with the dog and cats and chat.
We're empty nesters, so no driving anybody to activities. We're both on town committees that have meetings regularly, so one of us is usually out at least one night a week.

Well, it's football season; so Sunday, Monday and Thursday evenings I am watching that. Otherwise, I'm not a big TV person. I often read in bed while hubby watches random shows. I also spend time in my scraploft, working on layouts or tidying/organizing. I go to sleep early; around 9 or 9:30.
