Happy Friday! This is my last challenge for the month! I have had so much fun with these challenges. Again it is a Shimelle sketch.
The twist for today completes the seasons! Be inspired by Winter! whatever that looks like to you! I have not finished mine yet but will add it here tomorrow.

Perfect timing! I decided to do a page to go with my layout from yesterday's sketch, using photos from the snow. As I'd done the journalling on the other page, I had to fill the journalling box with the hearts instead. As with my other page, the kit is "Snowman Kisses" by Day Dreams 'n Designs.

Great sketch, DawnMcD. I can think of lots of uses for this design on a page, but for this challenge, I will probably attempt a Christmas card instead. Should be able to pull something together as I compile my card making kit for stinkerbelle and msliz's October challenge. The photos I want to scrap right now are all summer ones. I love your page, AussieMeg! Perfect complement for the one you did earlier. Your use of red with all that blue & white is really effective. Love that you included the "garden gnome" in your photo block.

Love your LO, kiwigirl. So different from most of your pages, but very pretty. I decided to make a Christmas card with this sketch, using some of the supplies I started pulling together for my October kit game. I have too many supplies now in my kit, so need to edit some. But I can see how these papers and these stickers could easily be used to make at least a dozen cards. Not sure if they will stay in this kit, become a free standing kit of their own, or be set aside for the more traditional colours that seem to be collecting in that box... silver white & blue Christmas by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Here's mine using one of the same photos I scrapped yesterday (and now I have thought of one more story to tell using this same photo!).

*crawls out of the tired-because-work cave* I got up extra early on this Sunday morning to do a few more pages for my December 2018 mini album and get a few more points in for my team... Sorry, September turned out to be super busy.
Loved this sketch and how simple it was to adapt to 4x5. I used it to document the 24th which is the big Christmas supper day in my family. This is the left page of the spread. Right page will be a 4-picture collage photo.

Leaving some love right here instead of the sharing/commenting thread.
AussieMeg What a beautiful LO! I love the red and blue contrast, clean style mixed in with those cool splatters and silver accents. You balanced out the cardstock with the pattern paper so well.
JaneB Oh, look at all those lush soft colours. That taupe shade is such a gorgeous hue and does a great job of anchoring the design. I love the poetry-filled journaling, too.
stinkerbelle Teehee, that's a funny story (and photo)! I love how you let the white space take over to both frame and let the high contrast photo shine without overloading the page. The pinguin with the scarf was such a nice little touch. So cute!
kiwigirl Great job! You've managed to put so much in this page without making it look heavy (and that's no mean feat). Love all those little details, the striped paper to mimic the road and grey splatter so much.
grammadee That's such a fun card with a classic twist. That holographic foil finish is so festive! I love that you included a silver pop as it works so well with the rest of the colours.
Chinagirl828 Ugh, look at that starry paper. So beautiful! I love that you let it take over the background like the night sky. All those beautiful layers of muted papers look great together. This came together so well (and proves that light turquoise and blush pink are truly a classic combo).
LisaDV How freakin' pretty is this LO... I really love it. All those subtle touches have me ooh-ing and aah-ing. That pink bird, the soft pink sequins, the gorgeous dainty snowflakes die-cuts and the lacey vellum (?), oh, it's just incredibly beautiful together. *adds LO to inspiration board*

Your LO looks great Linda, I love the colours you've used, they're perfect for the fab photos! Amazing as always kitbop, love all the patterns they work so well together and the number strip across the bottom is the best!
