I'm more worried about the fact that he is becoming more unhinged, if his mouth is moving he is lying, he is so divisive and is tearing this country apart, and the people that support him do not care because reasons.
eta: I hate the man with the heat of 1,000 suns but unless we are having a genuine discussion about his health, I don't see it as relevant. And if we are going to discuss his poor health, let's start with his mental health. Yes, he is a mysogynist asshole who tears other people (especially women) up based on their looks. But we don't have to follow in his footsteps.

i thought fat shaming was verboten?
or it's acceptable if you don't care for the person?
this place is a study in contradictions

It’s his big mouth and lies, mocking, lies, and bullshit that I’m concerned about.
Weight gain could be stress induced.

i thought fat shaming was verboten? or it's acceptable if you don't care for the person? this place is a study in contradictions gina You do realize more than one person posts here and that there are no "rules"? Some people may be anti fat shaming but that doesn't everyone else has to follow suit. We all have our own ideas and opinions...although I'm unsure how this has escaped your notice because you seen to disagree with the majority on a regular basis. I'm in the "it's OK if that person is disgusting sexist pig who constantly comments on the looks of others" group. Then I'll participate with glee. It's relevant as he is is always calling other people unflattering names and playing "but look what they did" so when it's directed back at him, it only seems fair. This isn't some random women walking down the street who is being picked on and we know nothing about her life and base a comment solely on her appearance. We know who this man is...a man who rates women on a scale of 1-10 in looks, who claims he wouldn't have sexually harassed someone because she was "only a four", who objectifies his own daughter calling her hot & saying he'd "date" (which we all know really means fuck) her. I can go on for pages with more examples of his objectifying sexist comments, but I'm sure you get the idea. So yeah, that fucker is getting fatter and uglier by the day

Was I the only one who laughed out loud when he walked up the stairs to Air Force One with toilet paper on his shoe? For me, it summed up his Presidency in one image. My husband just shook his head and said "Did not one of his security detail care enough to stop him form looking so foolish?"

I need to go find it on youtube. I haven't noticed whether he's gained weight or not, but his over-sized, 1980's-cut suits make it really tough to tell. His too-large suits and baggy pnts aren't doing him any favors in that area, for sure. And I totally agree about the Presidency not being good for anyone's health. (although maybe that's why he goes to his golf clubs so often-- for his health. lol.)

I cannot stand Trump but IMO it's not cool to comment on him gaining weight, just like it wouldn't be cool to do it if a woman were president. It's a stressful job, even if you're totally incompetent. Lots of people gain weight under stress or for many other other reasons. No reason to shame anyone about it.
There are million other things to criticize him about.

I don't think anyone's shaming him for his weight. I don't think he has the best taste in clothing, but I didn't see anyone shame him for his weight-- that's not what I was doing, and I don't think that's what trollie was doing when she wrote it. and pjaye 's comment is more about his disgusting behavior, not his weight. EA: hahaha!!! thanks, 950nancy. either way, it totally *looks* like toilet paper, and I can NOT believe a public figure who KNOWS they're going to be filmed wouldn't give themselves a cursory once-over before exiting the vehicle-- or have a staffer look you over before you get out of the vehicle.

I really haven't noticed any weight gain since he had those very unflattering pictures taken wearing white//cream on the golf course. The one thing I notice is that either his neckties or the neck of his shirts are too tight. Someone compared his throat to a vagina when he was running for President and I have never been able to unsee that in his pictures.

His weight I don’t care about, but the loss of his mental facilities , that is a whole other story.

I think he wears Tip O’Neil’s old suits. Hey, Tip O’Neill was one of my favorite pols! He proved to the country that Reaganomics was a sham. It was because of him that FDR’s New Deal survived, and remains as one of the most significant achievements of Democrats.

He’s supposed to have a body man who makes sure there’s no snot on his face, spinach in his teeth, or TP stuck to his shoe, his fly is zipped, etc., before he’s seen in public. But since he refuses to follow a single freakin’ norm, I suppose he has no one.
I bet Keith Schiller used to do that stuff for him. But he’s gone now and Trump probably doesn’t trust anyone else.

If they can’t repeal or scrap something for those Americans who need them most in one fell swoop, they’ll gut them one bill at a time. Absence of empathy. That was brought up earlier in one of the other threads.

My husband just shook his head and said "Did not one of his security detail care enough to stop him form looking so foolish?" when I first saw it, I seriously thought that it was not real and that it had been altered. Then all the usual news outlets started playing the video and then I was shocked that they just let him fly that toilet paper like it was his personal flag.
