Love the thickers alpha and a couple of the papers (the small prints, lol). The rest...while pretty....really won't work for my pages/photos

Too similar to glitter girl release, I’m not impressed.

Ugh, why does it seem like some new collections are looking like the old Hot Off the Press days? Nope to this one.

Nope. None of it appeals to me at all. Of course this means, when I start seeing it arriving in the UK I will probably fall in love with it and buy the whole collection but at the moment I think it's gross and I don't want any of it

The purple text for the name of the collection had me hoping for a lot of purple...but I hardly see any and what I do is more on the 'is pink? is it purple?' side of things. It feels a lot like her last 2 collections so mixing and matching will be nice, but I liked the fact that her collections varied a lot between them. Not so sure how I feel about them starting to get so samey.

Did she take a trip to Disneyland before designing this collection?

I like it all except the mermaids. I don't know why but they annoy me.

Did she take a trip to Disneyland before designing this collection? I think she visits DL quite often judging by the layouts I see her posting. I think it's kinda her thing. 😀

Oops, I was going to say that I'm kinda on the fence with this one so far, but it could grow on me. 😀

I LOVE it. I think it's fun for boys and girls, not to mention anyone who loves fairytales! Oh, or the RenFest! Not to mention, of course, Disney.

I am going to reserve judgement. I think that AC is notorious for posting some unflattering photos of collections. Shimelle usually does a pretty good job with usable b-sides, so I will likely want the Thickers and then will take a look at the back-sides of the papers to see what I can mix in with the rest of my collection.

I'm a big Disney fan. We were just there in August and I'm ready to go back again. I just meant that I can see the Disney influence in the collection. The camera paper reminds me of Monsters Inc., the book paper reminds me of Belle, the mermaids and castle are obvious.

I won't be buying a lot of this: some pieces are pretty and I like it if you have kids, but my kids are too old for mermaids and dragons.

The line is cute but too whimsical for me. I do like the enamel dots, puffy hearts, maybe the glitter thickers and some of the papers. I'll see how I feel when I start seeing projects made with it but as of now it's not a must have.
She's HUGE into Disney. Aside from going there regularly, they Disney Bound a lot at home. That's dressing in clothing inspired by Disney characters. She did a month long thing of it earlier in the year with her son and I think they are doing it again now.

hmmm....there some things I like, the blues and puffy hearts but most doesn't really work for what I scrap...not liking the mermaids at all.

What I really love about it. The blue/teal thickers, the puffy heart stickers, enamel dots, flocked foil paper, The raspberry word paper, and the floral raspberry paper with the butterflies. I would love to see the 'B' sides of those papers.
What I am not a fan of. The mermaids and the unicorns. Although I think the dragons are really cute I think I would have a hard time using them.

I LOVE Shimelle. I really like her and her teaching and i really want to support her. But the more collections she does, the further she moves from my style and I find it hard to incorporate her papers in my pages. I might pick up some of the embellishments but I find even the sticker books kind of hard to use.

Pass for me. It just looks hard to use and I have little girls Same for me. I have older girls but still scrap pictures from their younger years. Shimelle's collections are too wild for me. I feel like there's nowhere for the eye to rest in any of her papers. I could see using that camera paper for a Monsters Inc. layout, though. We love that ride. The book paper would be awesome for Belle or Red Rose Tavern layouts or any 'her nose stuck in a book' type of layout. The rest of it looks a little too much like a children's book.

I love a lot of the collection. The Thickers are a must. I’m confused by two things. Why a shaped sticker book? Why no 6x6 paper pad? I’m disappointed with AC’s decisions there.
My ten year old daughter asked me to buy her the entire collection. She wants every last piece.

lilacgal I wondered about the 6x6 paper pad, too, and the shapes sticker book? And no alpha sticker book? I liked her alpha sticker book from Box of Crayons. I wonder if Shimelle's collections aren't selling as well as the other designers? I noticed she has fewer SKUs than the newest Paige Evans collection.

I don’t like it. I was just at Disney for a week and wouldn’t use any of it for my Disney pictures. I don’t like the colors. I don’t like the cutesy look. As someone else mentioned, it looks like an enlarged Hot Off The Press rerelease. It’s clumsy, ugly, just awful.
Love Shimelle, but lately I don’t know where she’s heading artistically. Each release she puts out I’m finding I like less than the last.

This would be adorable if you had little kids and a trip to Disney to scrap but most of it will be a pass for me. I might grab the thickers, puffy hearts, and the rainbow washi. That's probably about it though.

I'm waiting to see better photos and/or a video of the release. From first glance I am a fan of the dragons, flocked specialty paper + the 6x8 journaling pad. Shimelle's B-sides are usually a bit more relaxed in comparison to her whimsical A sides. Also, I hope this is the last line that I see mermaids and unicorns in. I gave my 1 year old a unicorn bday party and she's going as a unicorn for Halloween, but I must say I am Unicorn and Mermaid out for my memory keeping.
