Since purchasing some of the AC big sticker books, and a few of Amy Tangerine's books, I've accumulated quite a lot of the stickers printed on clear plastic. I LOVE them......when I put them over white cardstock. But that's really limiting me to many I can actually use. How do yall use your clear stickers? I'm thinking of just sticking them on white cardstock and cutting them out, THEN attaching to my pages. But I don't see myself doing that for all of them! Kinda bummed because they are so cute but just don't show up how I like on anything other than plain white.

I usually use white or a pale color as well. Instead of just a rectangle shape sometimes I use dies—oval or scalloped to soften the edged since sometimes a white rectangle looks a little stark.

I found the sticker book stickers to be too thin for my purposes, so I put them on vellum and cut them out. That might work for the clear ones too, so you get some translucency. TBH I haven't managed to use any of the clear ones I have. I find clear things troublesome.

Ooh I'd never thought of putting them on vellum. I also mostly use them on white cardstock because of how crap they often look on other colours or prints.

I put stickers that blend in too much on the page onto a contrasting colour cs and then cut out the word or the whole title. I use my cutter to make strips. Sometimes I snip one or both ends of the strip to make banners. If you cut a white title block ahead of time with a punch, die, or your cutter, you can ink the edges to blend in with your background. Sometimes i I swipe some paint under the title area so the letters will stand out more. I like joblackford’s idea to use vellum.

I generally put them on white cardstock, then fussy cut them. I avoid purchasing them, as a rule, because it's annoying.

I got myself a ScanNCut right after I did the vellum thing so I haven't tried it, but I was thinking I'd put all the stickers I liked onto one sheet and have SNC cut them out for me. I don't know if you have a cutting machine, or needed a push to invest in one... You could also try putting them on vellum and then die cutting/punching them into shapes like artisticscrapper said. The vellum would blend better than cardstock so you could more often get away with a circle/shape instead of a fussy cut.

LOVE the idea of a swipe of paint on the paper where I plan to place the stickers! I can't wait to try that idea!!
