It sounds like it's worked out well for you having the pre-made layouts ready to go. I'm so glad it helped you get your mojo back.
I'm totally affected by the time of year. I tend to scrap more in winter or the heat of summer. Winter because my room is one of the warmest in the house, and summer because it's south facing so doesn't get a lot of sunlight which means it's very comfortable even without the aircon on during the 40+ degree days. This in between weather is when I most like to be outside so my scrapping slows down as a result.

Chinagirl828, same here. I'm out doing things instead of home making things. I'll be able to immerse myself in that again after Thanksgiving though. lcomfy, I know what you mean about how exciting it is to have new photos to work with. DD20 just shared a bunch of photos from her phone with me from over the last 2 years. I'm excited to have so many new photos to work with, but also a little frustrated because I've already scrapped a lot of the same events with my own photos, and I'm not sure how to work hers in too. But it's a nice problem to have, don't you think? It'll be awhile before I can edit and print. It feels like being given a present that I can unwrap later after the party when it's quiet.

I was going to scrap last weekend but I was too tired. Work is stressful so I’m actually too tired to relax. But I did send some pictures to be developed and I bought a kit from Citrus Twist that will be perfect for them so that should give me the push I need.

I love getting a new pile of photos to scrap! I don't do premade pages though, I don't know how I would make that work. Do you add all the embellishments and everything? What about titles? Definitely autumn and winter are better times for scrapbooking because I'm generally indoors more. And it's nice to look back over summer memories.

Nothing like a bunch of photos you can't wait to get onto pages! Congrats, lcomfy on getting so many pages finished! I usually start with the photos, so find it hard to put together a page unless I know what will be going on it--as in the pic's are on my phone or in my camera and just need to be printed. But even then, I am quite stumped until I have the photos in hand to move around on the page. As for seasons of scrapping, I am retired, so home most days, with access to all my scrappy goodies. I am most productive when I can do a little crafting every day. So even on busy days outdoors or off doing errands or housework, if I can get an hour or so in the morning, I can usually put something together. When I take a break, it is harder for me to get back into scrapping.
