So sorry for the loss of your mom and the difficulty with your sibs. HUGS and more hugs.
I love your idea of dyeing your grey, pink. It sounds so fun and lively like your description of your mom. What a gift to have a mom with a great wit and sense of humor.
Honoring your mom and your relationship may help with your grief. I would suggest to do that in whatever way feels right to you. Others mentioned a private memorial with your family. In addition, or instead you could plant her favorites in your yard, donate to a charity or free health clinic (that offers mental health services), make a scrapbook of you and her, shadowbox with pictures and sand from that beach, write letters to her and bury them with the plants, or burn them and scratter those ashes. I believe we will always love and miss our parents yet the feelings can be warm and loving. That takes time but is possible as the pain of the loss is diminished.
Be kind to yourself. and again - so sorry for your loss.
