So last night I was unwrapping Uncrustables for supper, and my DH came home and complimented my kitten heels, and then said he wanted something hot for supper instead. I told him I was going to make Crock pot Italian Beef, but I was out of liners.
So today I went to the store for more crock pot liners, but on the way in I had to gather all the carts that lazy people didn't put back in the corral, and of course it was raining, but whatever. So anyway, after the grocery store, I stopped by a friend's house for lunch, but when I went to the bathroom, there were fancy towels and regular towels and I wasn't sure what to use, so I just didn't wash my hands.
During lunch, we had a lively discussion about washing your rear end in the shower...did you know some people just use their hand?? Anywho, then we discussed merkins vs vajazzeling, and let's just say Brenda down the street is extra sparkly.
So anyway, then the Altoona police knocked on the door asking if we had seen the missing baby Jesus, but we didn't know what they were talking about. Sending prayers Jesus is found. That did get us talking about the holidays, and Sally is having her whole meal made for her, with pickup on Thanksgiving morning. I told her to double check the store would be open, but she blew me off.
So after all that, I got home and little Bobby got off the bus. I think I need to email his teacher, as he got paint on his new super duper special edition NFL jersey. Yes, that deserves a strongly worded email to the teacher, principal, superintendent, and school board president.
The Italian Beef was done, so we sat down to supper, and DH couldn't even open the bagged salad! After my day, you'd think he could help out.
So anyway, is it wrong of me to expect him to help out more??

Yes you were wrong. But I will offer zero supporting statements, just my opinion as a non top 15% pea.

Your husband would probably help out more if you served him Jello as a reward for his efforts.

I think when he said he wanted something hot for dinner, you should have just reminded him that you were wearing kitten heels.

I needed this today LOL. DH is looking at me like “WTF are you giggling about?”
I just told him it’s way too complicated to explain, but trust me, it’s hilarious.😂😂😂😂😂

EXCUSE ME! But you promised you'd finish making the torn bears for me today. After all, I paid you hundreds of dollars for them.

All I can say is that you'd better lock down your computer against any visiting French teenagers!

Thank you luckyexwife, you reminded me of so many classic threads of yore. I'm just about to go do the grocery shopping and this will give me something to smile about while I trudge up and down the aisles!

Did you take your kitten heels off when you entered your friend’s house?

I think you forgot about mediating the dispute about the best religious item to have...Moroni angel topper or bathtub Mary mother of Jesus lawn ornament.

Tripping down memory lane tonight....thanks girls Speaking of French teenagers, does anyone remember how Fleur and her daughter (name escapes me) ended up leaving 2Peas? And wasn't there a brother/uncle named Mark as well?

LOL this is awesome.
But you forgot to mention how you took a picture with a remote with the really expensive dslr set on a tree super far away from your original camp site and that you weren't able to get the turkey on the day you needed it.

So anyway, is it wrong of me to expect him to help out more?? Yes, yes it is. The poor man must be exhausted after a hard day at work. You should be greeting him with a nice cocktail at the doorway wearing nothing put Handi Wrap, 'cause it don't mean a thing if you ain't got that cling. Now that you know better, you'll do better.

You are so one of the 85% that are simpletons who stick around here because they can’t figure out where else to spend on line time. Google is SO last millennium. People these days should ask Siri. By the way OP, you could just ask the peas for recommendations about where to go out for dinner—so much better than Trip Advisor. This is was good for a laugh—thanks OP!!

I hope you trimmed your toenails (or peeled them off), leaving a pile of clippings beneath the dining room table at your friend's house while you were there. It's a gift that keeps on giving!
