If you do get ithe doors clean using one of the above methods...I’ve had glass doors in many bathrooms and love them. (I hate the way shower curtains look and how they get mold so quickly). Anyway, I keep a squeegee in the shower and wipe the doors down after every shower. They always look sparkling clean and it takes only a few seconds to do.

Rejuvenate Soap Scum Remover. I've tried everything everyone has listed and so far this has worked the best.

That scrubbing bubbles battery-operated automatic shower cleaner sprayer was the only thing that worked on our glass shower door. It was/is a miracle. You hang it from the shower head arm and press the button after you get out of the shower and it rotates the spray, like a sprinkler. It took about a month, but a decades’ worth of soap grime disappeared with no scrubbing. Now it keeps it clean. Where do you purchase your automatic shower cleaner sprayer? I cannot find any in our area. I agree it works very well.

I used Wet and Forget for the first time last week. It did a great job on the doors. It’s kind of expensive but you get a big bottle. I found it in Lowe’s.

Spray 9 from amazon. It cleans some really horrid, nasty stains that have been around for years. It is a serious cleaner, so be sure to have fans, vents, and/or open windows going when you use it. It might take a couple of passes before it gets all of it off.

I too wonder if it’s not hard water scale and not soap scum. We have really hard water here and every bathroom has glass doors on the showers, ugh. I recently wanted to get some of the scale off the doors in our guest bathroom. I sprayed it with Scrubbing Bubbles and scrubbed it with a Magic Eraser, I was surprised by how well it worked.

Yes, my best tip for dealing with shower doors is to do away with them and just get shower curtains. I have a cloth one that hangs outside, and a cloth-like waterproof one that hangs inside. We had shower doors before we moved to this place and I hated those things. ugh. We rent, but I currently want to take a sledge hammer to our glass ones. Our landlord would understand, right .

My dh laughed at me when I bought it, but when the shower door was actually clean by the end of the month, he was sold! I like that you can get different scents for the refills and it leaves the bathroom smelling good, rather than like chemicals.

Thanks again for the advice!
I am wondering if the glass is not etched. Sigh. I do not want to have to replace these doors....
