All my black Friday orders have arrived so now I really need to work on using up some stash. I'm not frozen but I will be trying to stay away from shopping for a while.

I’m not going totally frozen because I know that won’t work, but I do want to limit purchases until a convention I go to in April. I’m planning to cancel my two AE subs, but I will keep Elle’s Studio. My main goal is to actually get some scrapping done and use up some stash. If I make some purchases, I’m ok with that as long as I am making progress on getting projects done vs surfing and looking at SB stuff.

I am going to be heavily refrigerated as well. I have subscribed to the kiwi lane kit club and the AE story kit. 🤦🏼♀️ I tend to buy a LOT at TM so I’m going to stay away from there.

I’m in for the most part. I do need to get some pictures developed and will be running out of white cardstock soon. I’m looking forward to running out of adhesive because it will mean I’m getting layouts done.

I am! I'm moving my scrapbook room and realize that I have too much stuff. Thinking I might pull the plug on my AE subs (story kit/stamp kit) as well...the increase postage and exchange rate is going to cost me $70 CAN! Without add ons! Those subs don't even give me 12x12 papers! *edited to add* Just canceled my story kit sub, still have a 5 months on my stamp sub so I'll ride that out. I cancelled mine, too. It’s so expensive now. You’ve reminded me that I’m not totally frozen, though, because I’m getting Catherine Pooler’s bullet journal subscription. At least there’s no commitment, though, so I cancel if I feel the need to cut back further.

I am and have been frozen since Dec 1, 2018, and plan to stay that way until June 1, 2019. 6 whole months!!! 😳 I may need adhesive at some point but that is it. I cancelled all my subs too. It feels good. I have so many albums and page protectors in all sizes; unused kits and loads of bazzil white cardstock that I will be good for a very long time. Gonna be nice to use my stuff, finish projects and participate in challenges here again.

Not sure if this little bit of advice will be of any help to anyone in this thread but don't do the "last big buy/order before I freeze lol" thing. It's like eating crap all day because you need to enjoy it before you go on a diet: you'll be far more successful in the long run if you just set yourself a budget for a certain amount of time and *try* to stick to it.
With all the new lines for Spring 2019 about to drop, you might feel tempted to get something from your favourite manufacturer. It's more realistic to have a non-essential budget for the next 6 months than to give yourself no wiggle room at all (you'll likely crash and burn eventually, especially if you're frozen but still have the financial means to buy extra stuff). That way, you don't actually fall off the wagon, experience guilt or need to come to scrappy confessional. $30 or so (if you have the money for it, of course) to spend over the next 6 months is far more achievable and satisfying than going completely dry (and then manic-buying when you unfreeze, undoing half of your efforts in one go). And if it stays in the bank nonetheless, you will at least not have felt frustrated or restricted.
Obviously, no matter which freezing path you take, you've got my support!

I did very little shopping in 2018. I can tell the difference in my paper supply. But, I still would like to use up another big chunk of stuff, so I'll be semi-frozen.
I have been staying out of TM, as I always impulse shop when I am there.

TM is like crack for me. Gotta stay out of there. Otherwise, I've been really good about purchases at my LSS. It helps that she doesn't get stuff I would love to buy!

Oh, forgot to mention that I joined a stash busting group on FB and bought the 365 class with the intention that both of them will help me use what I have. Let's see how that goes!

I’m in! I’m in! Wish I would have read the above post about not doing a big shopping spree before the 1st. That’s exactly what I did yesterday. Bad pea. But, I’m ready to use my stuff, avoid TM and unsubscribing from the emails that make me want to shop. I will be going with no shopping until I complete 100 layouts. Only exception is buying adhesive online when Joann’s has a sale. We can do this.🙂

On FB, it's called Bash your scrapbook stash. And the 365 class is with Scrapbook Cards and Today website.

I am going to be heavily refrigerated as well. I just moved and I can't believe the amount of supplies I have! And of course I didn't really want to purge any of it so I have to start making a dent. I will for the first time have my own space so that should help as I can have everything together. I'm thinking of doing some kind of challenge with myself though of 50 layouts and then a little shopping reward.

After a couple of fall purchases, I am back to being frozen. I am sure I can get through the first half of the year without buying anything.
