I have learned to buy the matching cardstock when I buy patterned paper, it is a time saver. I mainly shop at ACOT and scrapbook(dotcom) who do the color match.

My stash is very dented. You can see it most in the paper. You are Amazing!! I'm a little jealous! I am using more of my stash because of the way the scrapbook industry has changed: less new stuff to entice me! My stash rocks - some of that old stuff is GORGEOUS! - so I'm happy to dig in! I've been thinking for a while I should ask you to do my shopping for me. I always love your colors.

I think it is natural to go through different phases. I scrapped 12 x 12 double pages pretty exclusively the first 10 years of my scrapping experience. I've had breaks here and there where not much scrapping would get done in a week, month, or even year. Busy living real life, but still have the photos. I've been stamping since about 1997 and scrapbooking since about 1999. For a 2 year span I did almost only card making and home decor while I was on a design team, but now I am back into scrapbooking more and entering a few challenges along the way too! For the past year I've been doing both single and double page layouts, and scrapping whatever strikes my fancy instead of being only chronological. However I now have about 150 layouts or more that are not in albums!

i haven't really done anything new in quite awhile, that i can think of anyway. i do waaaaaay more white backgrounds than i used to; i used to exclusively do patterned paper or kraft cardstock. i have tried out some different mixed media, like the ken oliver color bursts which i LOVE and of course nuvos, thanks to kiwigirl i definitely pile more crap on my pages than i used to lol.

Hands down my biggest change is I do something creative for 30 minutes everyday. This is such a great idea!

I am mostly scrapping the same as I did when I started out. Still 12x12 single page spreads for the most part. Biggest changes for me are more hand stitching, thanks Paige Evans and adding in mixed media, thanks Adele...oh and just gluing down and going with the flow, Thanks Shimelle! I am a much faster scrapbooker now as well even though my pages are way more embellished and layered. I also like using sketches for inspiration.

I thought of another thing. I started doing Project Life in late 2015 but I do it monthly. A 2 page pocket spread is 1 month. Until this year. Most months this year have been 1 pocket page. I still enjoy doing it, just take less photos. It doesn't seem during the month that I am taking less but when I go to print them, I end up with so few.

I do a lot more vinyl projects (both home decor and clothing) and cards.
I still scrapbook, but not nearly as often. I used to get together with friends who enjoyed scrapbooking, and we usually managed it a couple of times a month. Most of our group all ended up moving to other states, including me. After moving, I eventually found others who scrapbook, but we have only gotten together a few times. So now I mostly scrapbook alone.
I used to live in Northern Virginia, about 7 minutes from the LSS. When it closed, I started going to a new paper arts store, which got me interested in other kinds of craft projects. Interested, however, has not really gone beyond accumulating the supplies for them.
When we moved halfway across the country, I took my stash with me, and I am glad I did. The nearest LSS is 40 minutes away, so the biggest change is that I do more shopping at Tuesday Morning where I buy things I like (that have potential) instead of matching paper and embellishments to pictures (how I shopped when I lived near the LSS). I shop a lot more from my stash, and I make what I have work for the layout. I used to just run to the LSS all the time if I didn't have the "perfect" paper.
I also have a real, bonafide craft room now. For most of my scrapping years, I had to store my stuff wherever I could find a spot, and it was all over the house. It is so much easier to scrapbook now. I just have to plan the time.
