pancakes thanks for the feedback, that’s helpful to know. I agree that inked customer service is awful. But at this point with my scrap stash and budget, I would rather have a kit with less, but well made, products than a lot of cheaply made stuff that just sits in my stash. But I could definitely see the opposite if I didn’t have a stash problem and wanted more options. I know what you mean about the shiny cards, the ones from feed your craft are like that. These aren’t like that, they remind me of Becky Higgins core kits with thickness and print quality and have that dull almost chalky look because the print quality isn’t that good, so none of the colors are vibrant. So maybe they changed the cards since you subscribed? ETA: here’s photos of the most egregious card. The first one is the messed up side. You can see the black ink along the edges and see the pattern through it in places. The second is the back side so you can tell what you are seeing through/bleeding onto the other side. I’ve never had that problem with CT cards and I’ve been subbed for over a year now. Sorry to hear you’re disappointed on your first experience with them. For me, what CT lacks in quality, they make up for ease of use. Yes SC cards are thicker, their chipboard is thicker, their ephemera packs are smaller and on a thicker weight but damn, I found SC so difficult to use in the end. I am still clearing out useless SC bits from my craft room. Stickers with useless and too quirky sayings I can’t relate to, ephemera packs with odd shapes and pieces that are too obscure for my photos, chipboard in weird colours that don’t match outside of a kit and endless amounts of those washi tape strips. I’ll take a little reduction in quality if it means I can use a kit up easily with very little effort. The ephemera packs just seem to work beautifully with my photos and the stories I want to tell.

My CT kit arrived and I don't see a big difference between the new kit and the old pocket kit.
I think the quality is good and I really like the chipboard and washi stickers this month.

Honestly I think she rebranded the pocket kit to soften the blow of cutting out the regular 12x12 kit. Especially since so many other stores are doing the same thing. The only difference I see is that the stamp is now bigger

Got this in a CT email today... Oh, that is exciting! Anyone have feedback on the initial release? Good quality? Better than Inked/AE or about the same? I am looking for a smaller size album to do a travel album.

Oooh, I might have to give in. I'm really curious what I can use this album for but I'm sure I can think of something. I'm kind of loving that yellow.

Loving that yellow album! I think that color will make me give it a try for sure. So perfect for our little summer trip we take to Anna Maria Island in Florida every summer.

I miss subbing there but still have quite a few kits I need to use from CT. I really love all the inspiration on the blog.

The turquoise and yellow are gorgeous! Perfect vacation albums and would pair well with Sunny Days!

Not because of the kit change, just grew tired of each months kit looking like the last.

Love the colours but the Life Crafted album is quite small isn’t it?

Love the colours but the Life Crafted album is quite small isn’t it? Yes, the page size is the same as the travelers notebook standard pages. So basically a ring bound TN in page protectors. Personally I find it limiting, more so than a traditional TN. I can’t do 2 page spreads easily. I have one that I’m using for a “books read” album. I’m not sure if I’ll buy anymore.
