Printer ink and Cameo mats - that's all I asked for. I don't like being blocked from shopping paper for myself for 2 months. LOL.

No, I never get any scrappy gifts for Christmas! Everyone I know thinks I've already got enough! DH and I only filled stockings because we're heading to the US this weekend for a shopping trip. He never knows what to buy me for Christmas and has been suggesting the shopping trip for a couple of years now! So even though there was nothing scrappy related under the tree, I'll be hitting Hobby Lobby, Joanns, Tuesday Morning and one of the best scrapbooking stores I've ever been into this coming weekend! I see you are in Toronto, which scrappy store do you go to in the USA? Inquiring minds want to know

I went out with my gift card from Michaels and a willing heart. I found nothing. I went to JoAnn's with no gift card and bought the Gemini Jr for $97. I tried Hobby Lobby, but they said that anything with a yellow sticker could not be purchased with a 40% off, So I still have a Michael's gc.

Well... I have gifted myself alot this month. My DH bought me a new Vagabond a couple of months ago when my original died & he reminded me that was my Christmas present. Oh yeah! My DGD bought me 2 paper pads & stickers from HL & she got a Cricut Maker. She is the one I had made the Rae Dunn ornaments for, so now I have another crafty buddy!

That is before pictures. But they hold so many photos. I made the ones that had 6 sets of spines. I also made one that only had four sets (just change the measurements some).

Some 12 by 12 paper pads and a Hobby Lobby gift card from my MIL. I think the closest Hobby Lobby is two hours away (I've never been there) but coincidentally it's in the city my dad lives in and I'm going to visit on Friday... What should I get? The gift card does not have an amount on it, I'm guessing it's in the $20 range. Be sure to get their app. There's a 40% off one non-sale item coupon available all the time.

No scrappy presents for me, but Santa was willing. There just wasn't anything I wanted or needed in that category.
I did, however, receive a new purse sized camera. I broke mine a few years back on Christmas day and have not really found anything satisfactory to replace it. I have a decent camera on my cell, but sometimes you just need a better optical zoom and more ability to adjust the camera settings.

It's small but you'd be amazed at how much stuff Sharon packs in that store! She has a coupon every month, a loyalty program and if there is something you're looking for, she'll even order it in. It's worth a visit if you're ever in the neighbourhood.

Mrs. Claus (aka me!) was very good to me this year. A Fuse tool and accessories, Tim Holtz' glass media mat and accessories, a stocking full of embellies, and new Tim Holtz scissors. One funny: When I opened my stocking and feigned surprise (because I filled it!), I was truly surprised when I pulled out a bone folder and a Tim Holtz retractable pick, both of which I own a couple of. I looked at DH and he proudly said "you always complain that you lose these under piles on your desk so I bought you an extra set.". Who knew after 31+ years of marriage that the ol' guy actually listens to anything I say!

Since we all make wish lists on Amazon I put numerous scrapbook items that I wanted but didn’t know want to buy myself. I was surprised when thats what everyone bought me this year. I also gifted myself the last set of Oxide inks and the TH travel stamp platform with sleeve from TM.

I got a couple of small things which was unexpected. My DH actually did well at buying things that fit my style so I'm pretty pleased and definitely surprised.

I had a little HP Sprocket printer which I had muttered about ages ago and someone seems to have been listening (bless him) I've been pleased with the first results and it will be a fun addition to my travel kit. Mind you, he also bought me the same two books he gave me for my birthday in October, because for some reason he forgot to delete the details from his phone when he bought them the first time. Gotta love him!! Just wanted to second lisacharlotte 's recommendation for the lightbox - I have the same one and it's great. Very lightweight, easy to use and to store (tucks away down the side of my desk, so it's always to hand and as a result, I use it often). My problem is, what to do with the large, old fashioned lightbox my sweet Daddy made for me one Christmas years and years ago. Yes, it takes up a whole shelf in my cupboard, but I can't quite bring myself to get rid of it. Sentimental or what? (oh yes...)

Santa missed me (I wasn't that bad!). So I'm in the process of playing Santa (and birthday present) to myself.
Update: Just placed a large scrappy order. Made up for Santa missing me and no birthday presents.

Sort of? I got a bunch of magnetic sheets which will be going towards more die storage. I have way too many cutting dies and not enough place to stick them.

Do you have space to flip it the other way? Sometimes if you use those units vertically those bigger albums will fit. Try one sideways first before you go to the trouble!! I have one of those units and LOVE it!
