I was lucky enough to accompany my sister in law on her work trip to Hong Kong in October 18 Now I have photos to scrap and apart from a few specific papers I was able to get from scrapbook.com I am at a loss for supplies. I like to have at least one line to keep some consistency to the look of my travel albums I would very much appreciate any and all suggestions of something that would work I am thinking that the main colours are gold( lots of golden Buddhas in HK!) red, magenta, green( tropical vegetation/bamboo) brown(lots of wood) Any ideas? I have started with some Carta Bella Christmas paper with just gold stripes on red and gold on green but I DONT want the album to look Christmassy......

I feel like there was a MME collection fairly recently in those colors. I'll see if I can find it.
Sounds like an awesome trip!

Have you looked at Crate Paper’s Here and There collection? I think it’s their most recent travel related line, although the colors might not be quite what you are looking for. I also LOVE an older Crate Paper line called Story Teller that’s got some more saturated colors mixed in with the neutral browns and tans. Sounds like a great trip!

There’s a company called Hanks Designs that’s always at the rubber stamp conventions. They specialize in Asian themed papers and embellishments. You can check them out online. link

DCWV had a Far East Stack years ago. You still might be able to find it at JoAnn's.

There are some good elements in this "Everything Zen" line from Reminisce. linkThere was a Graphic 45 line named Birdsong I think that has some elements you describe (but it was a number of years ago), albeit pretty vintage and in the "Graphic 45 style". There are some beautiful Asian washi tapes that get very specific to locations (or other Chinese elements) on etsy. I'm sure you could find some you liked relating to Hong Kong. Paper lanterns appear on a few different scrapbooking papers (often more in the pink/girly colors). Mei Li Scrapbooking is in Hong Kong I believe, I wonder if they have suggestions on Hong Kong-inspired supplies? I will keep brainstorming on this.

I used a My Little Shoebox Asian themed collection to scrapbook a trip to the Far East a while back (the Aiko line), but it's discontinued sadly. I'm off again shortly, so thanks for asking the question for me too! (Mei Li are great...I've ordered from them a lot and I'm sure they'd have loads of suggestions)
