I went to a TM about 45 minutes away from home and they had more stuff than my local store. I was happy to pick up a few things but now I know that my store isn't getting as much stuff that I would be interested in. Bummer.
I bought MME 12x12 Bliss paper pad MME 12x12 In Bloom paper pad WRMK Farmer's Market paper pack + stickers DL Happy Place brads DL Neopolitan die cuts
I'm super happy about the Neapolitan die cuts because I still have quite a bit of the paper but only a few embellishments and it's one of my favorite collections. Can't wait to dig into it again!
I saw a TM video on YT and several PL items were shown. I didn't see any at the store I went to but if you're into PL it's worth taking a look.

I was at mine yesterday afternoon and they really didn’t have anything new.

It’s interesting how some of the stores get things at different times than others. I saw a BH Christmas PL set the other day. They’ve been straggling in over the last year or so. When others share what they’ve seen, I know what to look for. Thanks!

I bought those Christmas PL sets a few weeks (maybe a month?) ago. I don’t do PL but I like them for making cards or adding to 12x12 pages.
I bought one of those big We R box making set things when it was on clearance (and now it’s on clearance even cheaper, uggh) and I *finally* got a set of the layer rulers I’ve been looking for forever right before Christmas, so Santa was good to me, LOL.
I’ve been trying to stay away from there, I haven’t even taken the stuff I have out of the packages yet!

I found the PL Christmas right before Christmas and bought it even though I have zero business adding any more Christmas to my collection. I also hit the mother lode on Echo Park ephemera packs. Once I clean up my December album mess I’ll start doing Christmas layouts from years past.

I purchased last week. Brother Scan and Cut 200 for $99.00 Sizzix Big Shot for $49 and change
I am still unsure about the Brother Scan and Cut 200. I have not opened it. I have researched the machine but am still unsure about my purchase. I don't know if it will last very long or if it will involve extra cost.

I stopped in my closest TM yesterday and it seemed to be jammed packed but not much new. I looked really hard to find something & ended up just stocking up on some Kraft cardstock & pink Heidi Swapp texture paste for stenciling.
I was bummed that they didn't have new product, so I plan to go to the TM that's about a half hour away & check them out soon.

I thought it was the Brother Design and Cut. I would have scooped up the scan and cut in a heartbeat.

Last time I was at TM, there were two women with carts strategically placed in front of/blocking the scrapbooking stuff, obviously filling up their carts to resell (they were pretty verbal to each other about what would sell, what wouldnt...). While they weren't doing anything illegal/wrong, it still irritated me.

Someone was snatching up all the CP Merry Days, and I felt like handing her an embellishment pack she didn't see - "here, you missed one."

I went to my TM today and found some new stuff: Tim Holtz Distress Crayons storage tin, some embellishments from Shimelle's Box of Crayons, chipboard and clear stamps from Crate Paper's Wild Heart, a Pink Paislee Confetti Wishes sticker book, MME Winterberry and Jingle (paper packs and embellishments), tons of new Spellbinders dies and stamps, lots of Project Life mini kits and some MME 12x12 paper pads. They also had a bunch of 24 packs of Spectrum Noir markers but they had them on a display by the registers, I assume to avoid theft.

Has anyone tried the knockoff Copic alcohol markers that Tuesday Morning had in some sets of 12 for about $10 each? I wish I would have written down the brand name but as needed to get back home and was in a hurry. My DD would like to try some markers like that but I’m too cheap to spend the $$$ for real ones for an 8 year old. I don’t like alcohol based markers for myself but I might drop $20 to get her a couple sets of these if they are halfway decent. I just don’t want to spend the money on them if they really suck.

Are you talking about the Spectrum Noir markers mentioned above? If so, DD bought a pack. She liked them but found that the colors were way off. A marker with a pink cap was actually red and a dark blue cap was actually light blue. Just an FYI.

While they weren't doing anything illegal/wrong, it still irritated me. I was at TM on Monday and it was a really crappy day out. Very few people out on the road. TM had just put out their new stock and this lady went straight to the dies and put every single one that wasn't a double into her cart. She must have had 30+ in there. I just side eyed the whole thing. I wasn't looking for dies, but I did secretly wonder what she was going to do with all of them. Some were really ugly.

Maybe 8 sheets for $1.99

These were in a white/clear plastic container, 12 to a pack with the pens standing upright. They looked similar to Copics. I just did a Google search for Tuesday Morning and alcohol markers and found someone doing a TM Haul video on these, they’re Firefly brand. The girl on YouTube liked them and said they were juicy and not dried out, which some people complained about with the Spectrum Noir pens. If anyone from here has tried them too I’d love to hear an honest review!

I bought some Spectrum Noir at Joanns once because I wanted something temporary until I was able to build up my Copic collection. NEVER again.
They are super hard to open, and I don't have weakling hands. A few dried out quite quickly. All my Copics are still going strong. The colors are so far off, not even close enough to blend them.
No thanks!

Lots of new AC embellishments came in today. I finally got a Jen Hadfield sticker book! They had Shimelle, Paige Evans, Dear Lizzie, Maggie Holmes and others. There was a huge stack this morning, and when I went back tonight to get one for DD they were almost gone.
I’ve been wanting one for my journal. Online price about $18 before shipping, $7 at TM. Score!

I go to TM weekly. The employees at my TM put the new merchandise behind old on the racks so you have to dig through everything each week. Am I just unlucky or is this common?
My store got in a lot of American Crafts this week. Dear Lizzy, Amy Tangerine, Shimelle (glitter girl and box of crayons), several different sticker books.

My store finally received some of the dies and stamps that I saw hauled on youtube weeks ago and lots of PL kits but no embellishments or paper. I bought a wing die set, a Halloween stamp set and a tiny house mouse stamp and some adhesive tape.

One of my stores puts all of the new items at the end of the aisle separate from the old stuff. Another one rolls two shopping carts of new stuff into the middle of the aisle and leaves them there for a few days. By Saturday (5 days after shipment) the rest of the new stuff in the cart gets put on the pegs. Both of these stores are top sellers of crafts. People buy stuff when they see the new stuff.

I’ve never even seen a sticker book at mine. I have a feeling someone (or several someones) is there Wednesday when the truck comes and grabs all the good stuff. It would explain why sometimes my TM seems to never get in the things I read about here. Or maybe it’s just that this store doesn’t get the same shipments as the others. At least they got that Tim Holtz travel stamp platform.

Hopefully I will have time to stop in at my local TM tomorrow. When I was visiting my mom I went to her TM and found several things... yay! My favorite purchase is the Photo Play Freestyle collection pack for $5.99! I don't own any Photo Play products and I'm excited to use it.
