I saw this recently... She's got a problem when even Anderson Cooper, CNN, and the Washington Post are questioning her intelligence. I’m not in the business of defending (or attacking) Ocasio-Cortez. But I am downright shocked that anyone who supports/defends Trump would even notice if someone else were fiddling with the truth, let alone get on any kind of a high horse about it. Really? You’re concerned about a lack of absolute, precise truth? Since when? Right? If Trump is breathing, then he’s lying. I have never seen anyone in public life lie so much. Soooooo much worse than Nixon.

It's pretty spot on the exact type of things people say about Trump when he does the same thing. The woman is advocating that facts don't matter, only morals do. That's an amazingly dangerous thought process for a law maker. Wrong again. AOC made an error in reference to her source, and was corrected on it. She further tweeted that “facts are facts America. We should care about getting things right.” She further stated that there is a bias as to who gets fact checked and the results— how the standards of her error don’t even compare with say trump et al having his own alternative and completely wrong facts on things like climate change, refusing to listen to scientists who are experts (because he’s not an expert). She is most definitely not advocating that “facts don’t matter” as you once again falsely claim. That claim is solely owned by trump, the GOP, Republicans and conservatives who continue to lie, and continue on with alternative facts. No, it isn't. She exaggerates & misstates facts and her response to that being called to her attention is pretty bad. She got 4 Pinocchios from the Washington Post and she minimizes the problem with what she was called on. Even the Washington Post is saying that they don't give those out for messing up the semantics of something. They give them out for blatant falsehoods. It's the worst rating you can get. Even the Washington Post is saying her idea that people should care less about specific facts and more about being “morally right" is extremely problematic. Anderson Cooper, Whoopi Goldberg and CNN among others on the Left are saying much of the same. So, no. It's not just "Trump, the GOP, Republicans and conservatives" that have a problem with it as you claim.

Given the incoherent babbling that @rickys doing, methinks she’s running out of anything remotely valid to argue about, or fake news to repeat, or relevant for that matter. She’s sunk back down to the same tired line of “poor me” “dismissing viewpoints” (you know, those things conservatives say when they’ve got nothing)

It's not just "Trump, the GOP, Republicans and conservatives" that have a problem with it as you claim. If you’re going to quote me, then at least quote it properly and not move the goal posts. I stated that your claim that she’s advocating “facts don’t matter” was solely owned by trump/GOP/you conservatives who try to use it as an argument against her. She misspoke. Was called out by many and corrected (something that is severely lacking in republican/conservative responses). Which prompted her to clarify that facts do matter. AOC herself posted that “facts are facts, America. We should care about getting it right” so once again no, SHE IS NOT advocating that facts don’t matter as you claim. I did not claim anything else. You moved the goal posts on that one. (And it’s hilarious to read your argument about lies, given that you don’t do any of that on all of trumps lies, the lies of the GOP and republicans—-kinda confirms and proves AOC’s point on bias as to the fervor of who gets taken to the mat and who doesn’t 😉 )

I thought that I would follow your lead because why not? 😊. And deflect is a good word. Keep up the vocabulary lessons! 👍🏻

We have a new generation of young Congressmen who now will have their youth on social media. People still had film cameras when I was in college and did not document everything. Shoot it was safe then to do a wet t-shirt contest on Spring Break. lol I did not, but was there to watch and no one was taking pictures. I had a camera because I used to document every moment of my life, but I was the only one doing that for my friends, getting it printing and giving out copies. lol
