I got behind on my monthly kits (8 pages a month). The last one I did was in June and I have July-December to do. I finished July and August yesterday and January showed up on the door today after 4. Those pages are now also done. So I have 12 double paged layouts done in three days. Doing September tomorrow. Then I have 40 pages of a beach kits to do. My goal is to have them all done by mid February. Was thinking end of January, but I hate to pressure myself.
I’ve been working on my page kits, around 30 of them. Still adding embellishments to the kits. Next the alphabets and washi tape. As I look at some of the pictures I have picked out, I am really excited about scrapping them! My nephews (11 yr old twins) have a new kitty, Jessica, so I am making a page for each of them. Lost their mom (my sister) last year, so my goal is to continue their scrapbooks for the 3 of them (14 yr old nephew too). They are involved in hockey, I do have those pictures printed and ready to go. Hope everyone is having a good weekend!
Sounds like you will have fun scrappy times ahead, ss. Your sister's kids are lucky they have you to continue their albums. What a wonderful act of love.
Will you be taking these kits to a crop? I never seem to have the patience to build kits unless I know I need to take the photos and supplies away from home to scrap. Once I start looking at the pics and selecting papers, I just get itchy to scrap them RIGHT NOW!!!
I pulled out some November pic's this morning. I have them laid out on a couple of pieces of cs, but now I am playing around with a large tag I want to use for one of the pages. Of course it has wet media on it, so it will have to dry before I can put the page together. (and there may be more layers to dry after this one...) This is as close to "kitting" as I get.
I’m scrapping and watching football all weekend. I’m up to 12 on my December Daily, and am determined to get it all done by tomorrow — 5 days per football game.
My Epson 400 is a game changer! I already printed photos for my first January 2019 layouts. I am never able to visualize a layout without having photos first, so this is probably the most significant tool addition ever for me. The quality of prints is amazing!
