oh my goodness! We are looking at March 1-4th.....you mean I might need to prepare for snow?? ha! Our trips will overlap by a couple of days I am there Feb.28- Mar 3! I would watch the weather.. and if it looks bad buy some waterproof boots before you go..t hey will save your life! If you don't have a really warm coat.. borrow one.. when I lived in the caribbean everyone always shared winter clothes. Another way to get by in cold weather.. is wear a waterproof outerlayer with sweaters etc under. Also GLOVES are a must as is a hat and scarf..

Perfect thread! I'm also going to be in NYC in March, so I'll be watching with interest.

We had a credit for plane tickets for some that we ended up not being able to use in September of last year! But thanks for the tip!! I’ll use that later! I love to travel! We booked our flight for getting in late March 1st and leaving the 4th. Short trip, but funds are tight and the plane tickets were the cheapest then. A friend told me to take a bus to the subway from LaGuardia! I hope we can find our way around at 12pm! Looking at Hilton Garden Inn on 8th street. Someone told us it was around everything. And we could walk everywhere else once we got there! I will check out the forums! Thanks!! are you getting in at noon or midnight? You say late on the 1st and then you say 12 PM

I'm also going in Mid-March so these tips are very helpful. I was planning a lot of outdoor walking but may have to modify my plans if the weather is too cold. I wanted to take the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty (visited once before). I also wanted to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge but wondering if its too cold for that... Checked the forecast and for the days we are in town 49 degrees. My teenager has requested to watch Harry Potter Curse of the Child so we were able to obtain tickets for that play. I am also looking forward to visiting the flagship NY Public Library (I love books and libraries). And also want to visit the Guggenheim -- never been there before. I am writing down many of these suggestions to add to my planning. Thanks all.
