I recently started using Pureolgy shampoo & conditioner on my hair. I love it, but it is pricey. The big bottles are on sale at ulta now for 15% off, a much lower discount than is available some other brands. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is the best deal for the brand, or if it is better to wait.
Thanks, Janell

From what I know on the beauty sites and youtube videos, this is a good sale. It's expensive and they rarely have sales on big bottles.

I use pureology and buy the jumbo size from Ulta. The only time there is a better discount is when ulta gives a 20% coupon good for prestige items.
Otherwise, this is the best you’ll get on them.

Every now and then they will give out a 20% off prestige brands coupon, but besides that, this is the best it'll get.

check the pureology site too. I think they have 15%+ off as well. If you use ebates it's 3.5 % back right now. I'm not sure about shipping though so check on that. Sometimes they throw in samples or something

What about this shampoo makes it so great? I have heard people like it, but because of the price, I have never tried it. I have not found the perfect shampoo for my hair, and I have tried drugstore and higher end. Do they have trial sizes?

It makes my hair way too soft and it goes flying everywhere. I'm not sure the perfect shampoo exists. I mean, I'm very well working my way into poverty to finding out but I'm not sure it's out there.

It’s really concentrated, so a little goes a long way. I have long hair and a liter bottle of each lasts me well over a year. I do think like everything it’s personal, I have friends who don’t care for it. They do have travel sizes.

I always hear of people loving their shampoo. I have tried so many of different price ranges after reading good reviews. But I can't tell a difference whether it's an expensive shampoo (that I got on sale at Ulta) or a cheap Sauve shampoo. I guess that saves me money if the cheap works just as well!

I also LOVE purology shampoo. I am fortunate to be able to get it from my hair stylist who buys it at her cost at the beauty supply place. However, I have seen it at Marshall’s on several occasions at s really good price.

I had to find a new shampoo after moving to Washington state from Utah. The one I used in Utah was awful for my hair here, and it took a couple different brands to find this, but I am happy with it. Now if I could only get past this growing out my hair for a new style phase, that would be great.

I feel your pain. I didn't think I would ever find a shampoo that worked, but I did. Function of Beauty. I can't say enough good things about this shampoo. It's is a bit spendy, but you seriously only need just a small amount for your hair. My bottles are only 1/4 gone & I've had them 2 months. I really love this shampoo & conditioner.

The only way to get it cheaper is if you know a stylist who will get it at cost from the beauty supply store for you. I used to have someone but she moved out of state.

I use Aveda Smooth Infusion and Damage Repair. My dd works at an Aveda Salon so I get a really good price.
I’ve seen Pureology at TJ Maxx’s But it probably isn’t always there.

I bought some on Groupon last month to try it out. Looks like it's still there and a set of the big size shampoo & conditioner is $71.99, which looks like it might be a better price than Ulta. Free shipping.

That’s the best deal usually.
Random but I had read Costco’s Kirkland Brand Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner are actually Pureology Hydrate. I’ve used both and I can’t really tell a difference, neither are the best match for my hair. Kirkland Moisture is so much cheaper, may be worth checking out.

I've never tried the Pureology but I've read this too. I swear by Costco's Kirkland brand. I love that it's it's SLS & paraben free and it's super inexpensive. Giant bottles for about $10. Before I found it, I was trying out a few different high end ones at Ulta but didn't love anything. I've been pretty happy with this for the last year or so. I love the price. Not sure if it will work for you, but worth a shot if you live near a Costco. You can get a Costco cash card so you don't have to purchase an actual membership if that's not something you want.

LOVE Pureology...
Groupon had it on a huge special the week of new years. Regular size bottles and big bottles. I ordered a set of Hydrating and a set of Smoothing (shampoo and conditioner) regular size bottles and I think it was $45-50 TOTAL. Might check there, I don't know if it's still available. I have gotten all of it and it's the real deal.
I jumped on it because I NEVER see Pureology go on sale. My stylist always discounts her product 20% the month of December, and I stock up then. Now I'm set for probably the year.

I've just started using the smooth infusion style prep smoother! I LOVE THAT STUFF! I have always been a huge fan of Aveda, since I had red hair, their red shampoo and conditioner was amazing. I've since gone mostly purple, so I've been using the color conserve! And some of the Damage Repair line, since my hair absolutely hates the cold and winter...
I have to say, I'm jealous of any discount you get! I stocked up at Thanksgiving when everything was 20%.
I never had much luck with the pureology line. My hair never seemed to appreciate any of their options. I've tried them ALL!
