I have been busy putting away my Christmas decorations, gifts, and crafty supplies. Changing gears from putting together Christmas pages. Although I am not crafting today (maybe BECAUSE I am not crafting today!) my mind if full of ideas of what I want to do next. A few things I want to play with in the near future: Using paints and stencils and scrapbooking elements on four canvases with family photos. I have the canvases, the paints, the photos and the supplies. Just need to time and patience to work on them layer by layer. Playing with some fall photos of dh's family taken on his nephew's farm. I have a class kit I purchased for a farm two page LO but never got to use. Also have some of the paints and glazes they used in their class (which I didn't get to attend). Not sure if the result will go onto a couple of scrapbook pages, or maybe onto another canvas. I am also itching to play with the PhotoPlay FARM collection I received from justjac for Christmas. Thinking that will work really well with the photos from the fall photo shoot that don't go onto the kit pages... With a Michaels gc I received for Christmas, I purchased a Brother label maker that works with ribbon. I have not opened it yet b/c it needs AAA batteries I don't have, but soon... What do you look forward to playing with in the next little while?

I received a Minc machine for Christmas that I haven't had time to play with yet. I'm excited to give it a try! I also have a couple stamp sets from my last stamp order that I haven't used yet. I have great visions of some gift sets with one of the sets.

Photo Play's Paper Crane.
It's so deliciously gorgeous! But I need to scrap with it when I have mojo so that I love the finished layouts.

I look forward to scrapping my New Year photos. I just received some papers from Scrapbook.com that I am going to use.
And of course I want to continue to make a dent in the baby girl stuff. Have lots of photos to scrap!

It's funny because after watching all the creativation 2019 videos and seeing all the new collections and products I'm just excited to scrapbook again! Moving my entire space to a different part of my house has given me a different perspective, I have some really cool stuff! Stamps that I haven't used in awhile, paper collections that I bought and put away that are just waiting to be cut up and played with, ribbons and embellishments that hadn't been touched in years, and yes even 4 AE story kits that haven't been opened. It was great to see the designers (Shimelle & Heidi)excited about their products and scrapbooking, I really think that I missed that excitement.

I spent some Christmas money and I ordered a Tim Holtz travel stamp platform. It came today so I'm excited to try it tomorrow! I didn't think I would ever get one. I'm a stamper, but for scrapbooking, then I decided to make cards as I need them. I made a few thank you notes so far. I also got a couple of sentiments stamps, and the cardstock card fronts.

I picked up ten wax-sealed bottles of italian calligraphy ink in a rainbow of colours last week at the thrift shop, and haven't yet sat down to figure out exactly what I can do with them beyond verifying they are indeed usable in a spoon nib. Do I really need them? No... but I couldn't leave behind those gorgeous colours for a steal of a price. I must find some way to use them with paper diecuts and Copics...

Just got some of the Doodlebug 'French Kiss' collection and it is so cute. My daughter has been taking French for 2 years and she has a class trip to France next year. A lot of the collection I can use now for everyday layouts. But going to keep some of the specific Paris related stuff for her future trip pictures.

I just bought some new clay, I haven't experimented much with molding but I thoroughly enjoyed crafting it in art class the few times we did it back in school

I have the Shimelle Head in the Clouds project pad and die cut ephemera pack to play with.
I'm busy making punny Valentines for one more week, and then hope to get out the Shimelle stuff and see if I can use it for cards.

So many of you had a Scan N Cut on their favorite things list, so I ordered one. It's in and I hope to play with it this weekend. Thank you all for the inspiration, it's been awhile since I've been so excited about a machine!

Santa gave me a FUSE tool and accessories for Christmas... and I haven't even opened the package yet. We are suppose to be snowed in on Friday/Saturday so I'm excited to have a chance to scrapbook/play for two days. ETA: Okay, okay, I know most of you in other parts of the United States would laugh at my interpretation of "snowed in". We will probably only get a couple of inches of snow but since it only happens once every few years in my neck of the woods (south west corner of Washington State, near the coast), we REALLY don't know how to drive in the stuff so those of us who don't have to go out in it, don't!

I stopped by Hobby Lobby today for some melting chocolate wafers. I wandered over to the scrapbook aisle, and their Sizzix and Spellbinder dies and embossing folders were on sale. I brought home a 3D wood plank embossing folder. I am looking forward to making some cards with it.

I'm embarrassed to admit that not only am I behind the times with aquiring tools, I am looking at three unopened boxes: the Cuterpillar Rotary Trimmer, the EK Success Circle Cutter AND the Tim Holtz stamping platform!
I'm going on a scrappy getaway at the end of the month, so I'm looking forward to bringing & playing with them all.
I'm also working on Christmas photos (from 2007), and I purchased a whole bunch of Christmas lines when I went to the Expo in the fall. I've worked with a couple, but there's still a few I haven't touched, so I'm excited to open those babies up!
