Yeah, lying to Congress. Witness tampering. Nothing at all (in a banana republic, that is). Let’s add Obstruction just for fun. And this is only the current Stone indictment. To say nothing of the guilty verdicts and other indictments that haven’t made it to trial, for the rest of the investigation. You know, against the good men who have done nothing wrong. It kills me that all of this information is readily available and the investigation is still being summarily dismissed by intelligent people.

Is this so he can give the SOTU? This is what I wondered! Either that or Stone being charged. I don’t think it helped that the airports were in such bad shape either, that is a PR nightmare.

Here is a current listing of the indictments & convictions & guilty pleas from the Mueller investigation. Conspiracy Against the United States and to Obstruct Justice, bank fraud, identify fraud, campaign finance violations, failing to register as a foreign agent, and financial fraud among others. Yes, including many instances of lying to government agencies. There are other indictments that haven’t gone to court. And I am positive more to come. This is a real investigation into real crimes against our country. Many of them committed by those on Trump’s Campaign or in his administration. We do it a disservice to dismiss it as a witch hunt into innocent men whose only crimes are having a bad memory.

Unbelievable! This will absolutely go down as the most corrupt presidency in the history of the US. Finally something at which Trump is best.

They didn't just arrest Roger Stone in the early morning with a huge team of people. They got hard drives and electronic evidence before any more destruction of evidence could occur.
Yes, he may have a bad memory, but he also has a long history of bragging about being a political trickster going back to the Nixon campaign in 1972, and lying about many things, both political and in his personal life which got him fired by the Dole campaign. He was a lobbyist in the consulting group with Paul Manafort, who has already provided hours of testimony and breached his plea deal. Stone has already said that he had a back channel with Wikileaks during the Trump campaign.
The idea that this is just an elderly guy whose wife and dogs got scared by the FBI is hysterical.

I also think it is pretty standard for the FBI to arrest people early in the morning. A guy here was arrested a few years ago for some financial crimes. His neighbors say that there were several FBI vehicles there when they arrested him early in the morning. I think he was less of a flight risk or threat than Stone.

Re: Stone
Most legal analysts feel that Mueller will be filing superseding indictments, and that the current indictments are only the surface issues. That upon further questioning of Stone, additional information will come out which will nail him.
Additionally, Stone has drawn the same Judge who is presiding over the Manafort case, and she is no dummy, nor has she put up with the usual spin that most of these bs artists
And also, Mueller has never lost a case, and brought abut the conviction of Gotti and Noriega, and led the investigation of the Pan Am Flight 103, and directed the FBO following 9/11. IF anyone is going to tie everything up with a pretty bow, it is Mueller. He is going up the ladder, step by step, brick by brick.
And if he finds, at the end of the investigation, that trump was not guilty, but only those around him, I will accept it.
And also, I am not upset that a lying jerk like Stone was woken up by an FBI Swat team for arrest. No tears being shed for that.
