Thank you! Except for all the dust and huge mess it caused, I absolutely LOVE it! So much brighter and current! It's the next steps, clean up and painting that have to be done by DH and me, that I am not loving... lol

what a coincidence. I was in the paint store today looking at colors for the exterior and Revere Pewter and Edgecomb Grey were two of the swatches I picked up.

I like your quartz. We are looking at quartz right now. Do you mind telling me what brand and color that is? I want something just like that, light tone but some light to medium pattern.
Your improvements look great. We are at the beginning and it feels very daunting.

Revere Pewter in that colour that keeps getting recommended. I love it so I’m going to pick up a swatch tomorrow. I’m taking pieces of the backsplash and floor tiles with me to the paint store along with some photos of the cupboards to see what works. I was really hoping to get the painting done too, but with all the dust I have to spend some time cleaning first. Maybe... but it will likely have to wait until next weekend.

You could get the Color to Go at Home Depot (about $3-$4) in the color you want. That way you can try it on poster board and make sure you like it!

Your improvements look great. We are at the beginning and it feels very daunting. I really love the quartz countertops too! They’ve got silver specks in them that catch the light and they are really lovely! The company is G&T Stone Trading and I can't find a name for it but the number is 8024. I’m really happy with the way this turned out too. The paint colour on the wall now is all wrong so I’m really looking forward to getting that final step done!

Nice job, love the flooring! Definitely try Revere Pewter before you commit. That color either looks great or horrible, and can look good on one wall and blue/purple on another.
I feel I’ve sampled every gray/greige/taupe color over the past few years. Edgecomb is good, but light, which might be fine for you (I wanted darker). Anew, Repose, or Agreeable gray are good choices. Pale Oak is a pretty neutral but very light. I ended up with Dorian because I wanted a little darker.

I like all of the colours you suggest, but I think Revere Pewter and Agreeable Gray are my favourites. I was really hoping to get it started this weekend, but DH and I are out all day and tomorrow is a holiday and the stores are all closed. Looks like it will have to wait until next weekend! Darn!
