It's our birthday celebration weekend here (SO and I are born just days apart) and I definitely plan on taking a few hours to scrap with wine. I've got my Selphy ready, my papers selected and started on my list of themes to discuss in my all-about-me-in-my-early-thirties mini. Happy Birthday it really should be a month long birthday celebration LOL!

Yesterday and today I scrapped school photos. Finished several layouts. Today I also started gathering stuff together for a memorial layout about my brother. It's still too fresh and raw to actually make it. I'm not in a rush to finish it. I'm just gathering stuff for it. I hope to order January 2019 photos this weekend. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand that it's too hard to make the layout right now. Gentle hugs, my Pea friend.

I have 3 gift projects to do by April/May
* a journal or travelers book if me & my sister doing the lighthouse challenge for her birthday in April * an 8x8 of DD’s study abroad in Japan for DD’s Birthday *an 8x8 of Italy/Rome for DD’s graduation
Right now I’m in the sorting picture phase
I was in a texture phase when I went to Japan so I think I might print my own backgrounds because I have ooodles of pictures of textures. So I’m also sorting those out too.
Fingers crossed I can stay on track and complete these by the end of April

A bit of a switch in gears for me today. I still have lots of hockey and winter photos to scrap, but I have decided to clear off a space downstairs (I do painting and other mixed media stuff on the chest freezer in the basement) and start working on four canvasses (one for each of my kids' families) with our Florida family photos. It will feel good to work with summer colours again.
It's a little scary b/c I have not done this for awhile. But I know that the hardest part is getting started. Once the first layer goes on, I will get into the rhythm, I think.
It will take several days b/c they have to dry between layers, and since I will be away most of next week, I wont be seeing the results until at least NEXT weekend, but I can work on all the canvasses at the same time, so when one is done they will all be done.
If you don't hear from me, I am buried under an avalanche of mixed media supplies in my basement. Don't call 911. When there is nothing to eat, dh will come looking for me eventually.

Getting a late start today due to headaches and chest pressure (stupid anxiety) so I’m starting once the dogs are all finished outside. I’m going to try to stay simple and get some stuff done. During scrappy breaks, I need to organize some more pics to scrap and housework lol. I was really hoping to feel better today since it’s the weekend, but I’ll take time out for a nap and I’m sure I’ll feel better.

I have 2 layouts done except for alphas and jewelry, and I'm starting my third. Feels good! 28-4-28 is giving me some solutions I never would have come up with on my own.

I have paint on the edges of four canvasses. Can spend the time while the paint dries to locate a couple of embellishment packs I picked up at the LSS last week b/c I thought they would be perfect for these. Now where did I put them??? dasmith2, I hope you are feeling better soon.

I had to have 2- 50 page books done by May 16th. I did about 1/3 to 1/2 the pages before we even left. One was for a gift and the other I wanted to have out at graduation. I remember gluing that last piece down the first week in May and not touching my scrapping stuff for weeks after that. Good luck. Don't put it off!

Well, I got 5 1/2 layouts done except for titles and jewelry, and I'm pretty okay with that. Tomorrow is devoted to housekeeping and a clear-a-path-through-the-basement project (electrician will be visiting this week to wire us up for a generator.) But I'm hoping to be back at scrapping again by Monday night. Hope you all had a good Saturday!

I made a wedding card, 3 Valentine's cards, and did a layout.
I also got 2 new tires on my SUV and bought groceries. All in all, a good day!

Walked the dog 3 1/2 miles and it was beautiful but exhausting! The end of our walk, on the street.

I'm off to church in a few minutes but hope to come back and have the rest of the day to scrap! I haven't done a thing yet this month! My brother has been here visiting from AZ for two weeks and every night after work we had something planned. Now that he's back home, I hope to settle into my scrap room and churn them out! I see lots of challenges I'm liking!

I was hoping to scrap today, but by the time we got home from church and I did laundry, I had to blow out the driveway. AGAIN. Then, the plow xame by and i had to go out and shovel that.
Now we are expecting 6+" Monday night. We couldn't buy any snow the first half of this winter. Now it won't quit.

I have some travel pages to do and instead decided to make 8 double layouts of the Authentique lines of Frontier and Solitude. Neither of which will work with the photos I have. Will do them tomorrow.

I also think I need to know what computer I am using. I am not sure what it is yet.
