What do you use to remove your make up?
I am starting to wear it more but jeez, getting it all off is like a miltary operation. Last night it I used 8 cotton pads and Garnier Micellar water to get it all off. I also use the melt off for my waterproof mascara.
I have very sensitive eyes and most eye make removers leave me feeling like i have a covering over my eyeballs like a mist

I use Liz Earle Eyebright. Soak two cotton pads, hold on my eyes for a few seconds and then sweep it off. I never need more cotton pads.

I use Clinique Take the Day Off balm for all my makeup, including eye makeup. If I only wear mascara and don’t need the balm, I use the Clinique wipes (same line).

Ponds Cold Cream and a washcloth. I know it’s really old fashioned but I swear by it, nothing I’ve ever tried works as well.

Clinique Take the Day Off liquid (purple bottle) with a cotton ball for eye makeup, washcloth and any number of face washes for the rest. Depends on the time of year usually...creamy for winter, a little more astringent in summer. Cold cream is great for winter and dry skin!

Simple Oil Cleanser. Everything comes off easily, including my waterproof mascara. It's like $6 at Target.

I prefer tube mascara. Doesn't flake or smudge and come off with water. I just use soap and water.

Another vote for oil makeup remover. I use Boscia Makeup Breakup oil. It seems counterintuitive that an oil doesn’t leave your skin oily , but it doesn’t.

I can’t use anything oily with lenses. The best I’ve ever found is Amway’s lip and eye make up remover. I know everyone has a hissy fit at the mention of Amway but I buy that and a few other things because the products are great.

My DIL gave me some makeup remover cloths for Christmas. I inwardly scoffed--no WAY they were going to work. Then I tried them. They are wonderful and save me a ton of money. I just use them a few days, throw them in the wash and they come out spotless. So easy. I love them!

I don't know where she got the exact ones she gave me (they were stocking stuffers), but here is a similar one on Amazon (mine is a two-pack) link

I don't know where she got the exact ones she gave me (they were stocking stuffers), but here is a similar one on Amazon (mine is a two-pack) linkI have those, and they work for most makeup, but I have not found that they work well for waterproof mascara. I wind up having to use something else in addition, so I don't use them anymore very often.

I bought this all natural oil cleanser at a health store. It’s magic but I’m pretty sure I can make my own with rape seed oil and afew other ingredients when my bottle runs out😉

Neutragena make up removing wipes. They work on the waterproof mascara and everything else plus leave a little mositurizer behind

I think we should all be trying to find an alternative to wipes to be honest. I have just bought some reusable/washable cotton pads to use instead of cotton wool too and I'm loving them.

Another vote for Clinique. I think all their makeup removers are good. The blue bottle I found to the the easiest on my eyes when I wore contacts. I've tried cheaper stuff and it doesn't work.

I’ve been using Vaseline to remove eye makeup and waterproof mascara for as long as I can remember. Wipes off with a tissue.

Micellar water doesn’t take off my eye makeup. I use Clinique Take the Day Off and love it. I have tried other cleansers. I have an Origins one to try next as I heard it was very gentle. It Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup dried out my skin really badly and it was very tight and dry. I quit buying it after I finished it up. I will by the Clinique one again and soon.

So, this isn't sold as a make up remover but you find it works well? Yes it is an eye make-up remover. It’s also used as an eye mask and soother. I keep it in the fridge in summer and use it on hayfever eyes. It might not work on the strongest of waterproof mascaras but I don’t wear that. It works on every mascara I’ve worn.
