Ugh! I hate wasting my good cardstock and I've gone though 2 pieces already! Has anyone had trouble with their Silhouette cutting at a different spot on the actual paper than it is showing on the screen? I am trying to cut a Paige Evans file, ornaments hanging on a bough. On the screen I have it positioned so that the entire cut fits on the 12x12 sheet, but when I go to cut the whole image is cutting about 2" to the left, so that it is cutting off of the paper and mat on the right side. The image itself is large, so it's not like I am placing the cardstock in the wrong place on the mat since I am using a full sheet. Otherwise, it is cutting beautifully. Has anyone ever had this problem? If so, how did you fix it? Thank you for any insight you may have. I'm about ready to throw this machine out the window!

I have had that problem. It needs to be calibrated. There are instructions on how to do it on the Silhouette website, it's fairly straightforward.

Also, make sure when you're loading your mat, you're selecting "load mat" and not "load media." That usually affects the vertical position more than horizontal but I wanted to mention it just in case.

Sometimes the machine can get messed up by something, such as stopping a cut, then trying to start again without turning off the machine.
If you have turned off your machine, waited at least a minute, then turned it back on, but it still has issues, it definitely needs recalibation. There are YouTube videos on how to do the recalibration. I've only had to do it once, and I don't remember the process, but it was not too bad.
Most of the time, on the rare occasion that my machine seems to get "off" then just turning the machine off and back on again after a minute seems to work for me.
