The original story is true that someone has taken 100 photos but I think it’s the back and forth with “ Paul” that is suspect. Is there really a “ Paul “ that has tried to mansplain or is “ Paul” really the Poke ? Paul sure has a long twitter history to be a fake account from the poke. You can look him up on Twitter, see when he joined, and see his tweets from before this incident. So how/why do you think it’s fake? Sometimes it’s hard to believe men can be this obtuse, but they’ll prove it to us constantly that they’re quite capable.

It’s not real. The Poke is a satirical website similar to The Onion. The replies are hilarious though No, it’s real. Paul Bullen has a twitter account. I’ve been following Dr. Gunter and this stuff happens all the time. It’s not satire. It just feels like it. twitter.com/paulbullenYes, his tweets are still out there.

He was right on one thing. It is common that people call the whole area vagina. I've seen peas corrected on that a number of times through the years.
It is that correction that makes the difference though. If some called the testicles a penis then no one would be saying, "it's ok. The whole area is commonly referred to as penis." No, they would correct the person. And certainly no one would say "testicles are the technical term, but you can call them a penis." It sounds so silly to even consider doing that, that it is just weird to have a man arguing that a vulva could be called a vagina.

I love the Venn diagram probably more than I should. Can we please distribute it to 99% of the women on reality TV who insist on calling everything a vagina? Okthanksbye.

This was all I could think of when I read that LOL! I remember that one! I kept thinking about the Sex in the City episode where Charlotte poses for an artist doing a series on vaginas that were then displayed in a gallery.

Well, I haven’t started a thread about it or anything. Just referred to it on threads about divorce or marriage problems. His sister is a member here so it’s a little awkward to say too much here. You know?

OMFG, Paul's still at it! the 'shorter' version of his explanation is waaaaay too long for me, but the Twitter replies are hilarious! thanks for sharing Paul's aversion to being called wrong; it's a funny way to start out my day. There's someone picking apart his dissertation and finding every.single.error. in it! it's great!! But of course, being Paul, he replies with: the more common word is 'treatise' not 'dissertation' and also states that he's written a treatise on mattresses, if we'd care to read it... Paul is DEF a lonely man.

I once had a Twitter interaction with a man who told me that if women would just not have sex on the 2-3 days per month they are actually fertile, there would be no need for contraception or abortion. Selfish whores with no self control, see.
I educated him that what he was proposing was called the "rhythm" method, and that it was responsible for large Catholic families all over the world. 😂 And that its cousin, natural family planning, requires much longer periods of abstinence for many women whose cycles are irregular or fertility signs unclear.
He insisted that no, all women's bodies are exactly the same and work in a 28-day cycle every month.
I then had to ask him if he had ever been intimate with a human woman. He insisted that wasn't the point! He read a book once and the book validated his viewpoint, so blah blah blah.
I gave up.

the Twitter thread led me to another one that has some good (and funny, and useful) info in it- the Nine Types of Reply Guys... of which mansplaining is one. (that phrase is not grammatically correct, but I'm not Paul, so I can admit that, lol.) a couple of the different types of Reply Guys remind me a lot of what happened in the 'too big for her britches' thread here, actually.

OMFG, Paul's still at it! "Long-form mansplaining" sounds like an Olympic sport! I don't want to encourage Paul, but I think he would get a gold medal for his entry in the Mansplaining Awards of 2019.

I was on linked in today and some jack from FedEx operations was mansplaining how there really is no glass ceiling, it's all in women's minds. It took everything I had to not swear up a blue streak and tell him to shove his non-existent brain functions up his overly ample defecation cavity.
