Time to start a new thread.
Steven Mufson...
”Trump urges Tennessee Valley Authority to keep open a 49-year-old coal plant. The company owned by the president's major supporter Bob Murray sells substantial amount of coal to the plant. But the TVA says the Kentucky plant is no longer viable.”

ABC News...
”NEW: "I have to study it," Pres. Trump says of tentative agreement reached by congressional negotiators to avert another government shutdown.
"I'm not happy about it. It's not doing the trick. But I'm adding things to it." abcn.ws/2Dw71lR”
The idea that trump actually takes the time study anything is something I just can’t see.

He’ll get the scoop from them during some of that executive time.

He has to wait for Hannity to sit in his lap and tell him if he should sign or not.

has this been mentioned yet? Steve Schmidt Storms off Own PodcastI listened to the podcast. He is NOT happy having to answer for this possible run by Schultz. How in the hell would he handle it once the guys says he actually IS going to run?! He's asked about how Schultz can get to 270 electoral votes and he can't answer it...says it's too early. What a schmuck...I'm disappointed.

I’m betting that trump just wants his name to be out in the wall, like the Lincoln Memorial

So socialized medicine for people needing medical treatment is BAD. Horrible and anti capitalist. BUT corporate socialism ( which is actually contrary to capitalism ) to pump up dying industries is good? Keeping the rich richer & the poor poorer 👍🏻 MAGA This is America. Socialize the costs (roads, courts, education, research) and privatize the profits. And fix the "markets" to keep the top 10% owning 90% of the wealth. *Daily plug for a financial transaction tax of .5% on the $ 1TRILLION traded DAILY!

Trump touts deal as providing $23B for border securityBY BRETT SAMUELS - 02/12/19 07:09 PM EST President Trump on Tuesday appeared to express openness to a border security deal reached by a bipartisan group of lawmakers, suggesting that its funds could be combined with others to build his desired wall along the southern border. "Looking over all aspects knowing that this will be hooked up with lots of money from other sources," Trump tweeted. "Will be getting almost $23 BILLION for Border Security. Regardless of Wall money, it is being built as we speak!"Trump's latest comments on the arrangement came after he and Sen. Richard Shelby (R-Ala.), the chairman of the Appropriations Committee, reviewed the particulars of the deal. The proposal would provide $1.375 billion in funding for roughly 55 miles of new barriers along the southern border, well short of the $5.7 billion Trump demanded late last year when he triggered a partial government shutdown that lasted 35 days. Shelby told reporters that he explained to the president that the agreement contained nearly $23 billion in total funding. The senator added that he did not ask Trump if he would sign the bill, calling the question "premature." ** More at link: thehill.com/homenews/administration/429709-trump-touts-deal-as-providing-23-billion-for-border-security

Can the next President nix this whole wall thing if it isn't completed by the time Trump leaves office? I just feel like they need to hire two Presidents next term. One to run the country and the other one to fix the political relationships, environment, and other assorted bad bills and deals he has signed.

$3 Billion dollars of lost GDP. Disrupting hundreds of thousands of families and their income for over a month. And ends up w/a worse deal than he was offered in December. Sounds like just a normal Trump deal - he sucks at negotiating.

And Schultz's advisor Steve Schmidt (thanks for Sarah Palin, btw) doesn't like defending Schultz's view of a raise in marginal rates for the dollars over $10MILLION as "confiscatory".
