I'm off work today for the holiday, and I'm feeling lazy and chatty.
Have you bought anything cute to wear for spring?
I just bought these shoes yesterday.
I also am going to purchase some things from Land's End today. I am so tired of winter, and I should probably cut up my card and throw it away until the need for spring retail therapy passes. Only that wouldn't even work because I have my card and all pertinent information memorized.
What have you bought that you are looking forward to wearing in the spring, if spring ever arrives?

Nothing. I prefer to buy stuff when I can actually wear it. I’m pretty bored with winter too.

I ordered this the other day link. With my member discount and 40% off coupon I couldn't pass it up.

I got a loosely woven sweater garment to wear over this waffle texture t-shirt in a couple of colours and 3 pairs of Lululemon leggings. Then I got long blue cardigan to wear over one of the pairs of leggings. I think the outfis look cute.

Didn’t buy anything to wear, but bought a new wreath for our door.

I've been stalking HomeGoods for brightly colored outdoor pots. It has been way too cold and wet to get into any repotting and planting yet, though, so they are just sitting patiently outside.

It won't be the season to plant here for 3 more months, but I have been looking at gardening ideas on Pinterest. I did go out the other day when it was warm and pull up some weeds. The next day, it was snowing. LOL

I bought three brightly colored pots and some dahlia bulbs. Planted them in their pots, but they can't go outside until mid-May.

I ordered an assortment of swimsuit cover-ups from Land's End to see which I like the best. I'm not crazy about any of them really, but I have to replace my old one, which was linen with side pockets that got a big hole in a place that wasn't reparable. Unfortunately, they don't have anything similar this year. Had a 40% off code that came with my catalog that beat the 30% offered on the website.
I've been ordering a lot of tunics and dresses from Gudrun Sjoden. Sales are rare, but the fabrics are such high quality, and the styles work with my apple shape, which has been magnified by a recurrence of Cushing's disease.
I'm going to want a new pair of sandals for summer. I'm haunted by some Birkenstocks from last year that I didn't jump on though, and they don't seem to have anything similar this year. I haven't really been in the mood to go down the rabbit hole of internet shoe shopping.

What is this “spring” of which you speak? Just kidding, sort of.
It was -22 F (-30C) this morning. I’ll be so glad when we get back to normal temps, we’ve had over 2 weeks of this weather.
We are starting to think about flower beds, but at this point, that’s all it is, a thought. So looking forward to being outside.

I haven't done much clothes shopping other than to try to find some wedges. I did buy some pillows and decor for a ledge we created between our dining room and sunken living room when we removed an ugly, 80s railing

I bought a bunch of linen fabric to sew some warm weather clothes.
I recently discovered Tina Givens sewing patterns and am digging the hell out of her shabby chic meets lagenlook fashion aesthetic. So I'm going to sew up some things using her patterns as a jumping off point.
That's really it. I need some comfortable shoes that meet my safety and fit needs but am still looking.

I bought myself a pot of tulips a few weeks ago, and then an African violet. I’m giving myself permission to buy flowers for no reason other than they make me happy 😊

I bought a Baby Foot peel so if winter ever ends I will have sandal ready feet. I’ve bought 2 pairs of capris. It is cold and snowy here, it feels like Groundhog Day, I want Spring.

I’m giving myself permission to buy flowers for no reason other than they make me happy 😊 I like to start planting in March. Living in Colorado makes this very difficult. We often get our best snowfalls in March and April (and sometimes May). I need to live where it is 72 degrees all year.

I bought some of this fabric to make a spring dress. It's so soft! I can't wait to wear it.

I treated myself to a Dia.com box. I loved everything in it! Since it's feeling like spring where I live, they sent me spring things. I got a pair of cropped jeans that fit amazingly well, an olive tunic, a raspberry colored lightweight cardigan and a really cute chambray dress.

I was going to say nothing, but I remembered that I bought some Ugg Sammy sneakers.
I also tried to get the spring pillows and decor out but decided it is too cold and snowy so kept the winter decor up.

I popped into Old Navy the other day when I went to Ulta. I found this striped swing dress. I buy a lot of three-quarter sleeve or push-up sleeve things because I'm always cold. I think this will look cute with a jean jacket and long pendant necklace. I also grabbed a chambray shirt while there. I am always on the hunt for button up white shirts or chambray shirts -- so versatile.

I bought a jacket and raincoat from Talbots. I really debated about the raincoat and I'm still debating. I love everything about it except the coating on the fabric. I'm afraid it will be hot but I'd better decide soon as more rain is on its way. The jacket was spotted last minute and I told the clerk I might not keep it depending on how it went with things in my closet. It is definitely a keeper. The jacket has a gray and beige mingled fabric and goes with everything! Will have to start wearing these things soon or it will get too warm for them by April. Raincoat: Colorblock RaincoatBlazer: Neutral knit blazer

The closest thing I’ve done to buy for spring is reading this thread. It’s very much winter here still, so why torture myself, lol. 8” of snow Sunday, and another 3-6” tomorrow. And more coming Saturday.
I do have mental plans to make herb gardens on my new deck though. I didn’t get to it after moving here last May, but I might have a plan for this year. Love me some fresh basil and rosemary!

I bought several dresses at Old Navy. I am plus sized and love their swing dresses. I bought this one, too, and love it. oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=410985002&cid=1068435&pcid=7322Of course it’s still snowing and cold but the swing dresses can be worn with a sweater and tights. I just don’t like dresses in the winter. Not sure why. I love them the rest of the year.
