What part of FL? We're looking to buy a house down there and that looks like everything we always shop for. Exciting! maybe we'll be neighbors

All you need is a pool boy and you're set. Exciting! Its freezing here in MN so I'd go for a pea house warming party in FL right about now.

Nice house! So glad you found "the one" so quickly! Even though I'm not in the frozen North (I'm Texas Gulf Coast), I would kill (well, maybe just maim) for that glassed in pool!
(correction: screened in pool, although I would take either one. heck, glassed in means I could cool and heat the area lol)

What a beautiful house. That bathroom is the size of my living room- maybe bigger! I have to say, I am always so jealous of the pools you have in the South. Here (unless you are crazy rich) pools are much simpler- you can only use them two months a year so people don't go as all out. I would love that pool!

wow!! the new place looks amazing!! hope you settle in well. i always do a double take when i see porched in pools (as a canadian)... and think.. that is so weird. but we don't have alligators so ya... Actually they tell me it won't keep out a determined gator. Yikes! So I guess you have to check before you get in, lol! Mostly it helps with the leaves and such, and also with the mosquitos in the summer. It's definitely what we wanted, and we decided what the hell, let's spend the money (we have it) and get what we really want. I just can't wait to move in! This RV life is getting a bit old, lol! This is so true but unless there is something in there he really really wants or he just gets a wild hair up his butt, your lanai is probably safe. Not something that happens a lot but when it does, it is often newsworthy. Get ready to start seeing snakes...I'm sorry but this is just the reality of Florida. Most are harmless...black racers, corn snakes, and Florida ring necks. I made it a point to educate myself and look at a lot of pics of the local venomous snakes, coral, cotton mouth and rattlesnake. Corals are pretty obvious but the main difference between the venomous vs non venomous others seems to be that the venomous guys are more heavy bodied. We've had a few swimmers over the past few years but they've all been juvenile racers or ring necks.
