I ended up going back and getting a few more of EK Tools (Cutter Bee) dies. Were they part of the $4.99 sale? I really wanted to go and see if our other TM on the other side of town had any left but I wasn’t sure if they had any left and what the regular price might be.

Most of them had 3-5 dies in the pack.

We drove into the city yesterday and I had a chance to stop by the Tuesday Morning - picked up an Echo Park Spring collection, a set of wooden stamps with a sewing machine and a typewriter, some camping/outdoor themed washi tape, and a dot embossing folder.

I have zero business being anywhere near a Tuesday morning, but I’ve been on the hunt for the MH Carousel ephemera pack. Stuff is starting to show up on ebay, but I refuse to pay those inflated prices especially when the seller can’t even be bothered to remove the TM price sticker! I totally scored with the ephemera pack, journal cards and some adhesive to replace what I went through this weekend. There was one other lady in the crafting aisle. After I’d been digging for a bit she asked me if I journaled. I replied that no, I mostly scrapbook. She responded, “Isn’t it the same thing?” I politely explained that while there was some overlap, scrapbooked don’t shy away from dimension on their pages where journalers often try to avoid bulk.

Well, I went out ISO some of the Maggie Holmes stuff and I wasn't disappointed! Picked up 3 12x12 chipboards, the Good Vibes ephemera, and a couple other MH ephemera/stickers. I have paper to use with the embellishments so it was very rewarding, as I always need more embellishments.
I hope TM keeps getting in all the scrapbooking supplies!

I love Tuesday Morning, but the two in my area either don't get a lot of the stuff I see in hauls or I go when it's too late. I do find some stuff, but never usually find ephemera that a lot of people share.

I have one near me that has a well stocked craft aisle but none of the popular stuff, even when I go in on truck day. If I go it’s after work and I wonder if the eBay vultures go in the morning and grab the cool new goodies.

I don't sell anything I buy at TM, but even I know that the best time to shop is first thing in the morning after they put out the stock. Where I live, that means Thursday morning, because they get the truck on Wednesday and have it out when they open Thursday. At least they are supposed to have it out then.

I was curious to see what MHP carousel collection looked like. I see a store offering the whole set for $75.00. She's covered the TM price tag with shapes. Her store name is buzybunny. I guess she must be when she's running around buying this stuff. I'm wondering I should get in on the act while I'm unemployed looking for work. Iol.

It’s such a bummer for those of us that work and can’t get to the stores before the resellers do I will not support them and love hearing when others don’t.

One of my stores gets the early shipment and stock on shelves by store opening. The other gets an 8am delivery and is on the shelves by 3pm.
My closest store finally received items I have seen posted on youtube 3 weeks prior. I picked up a few more Bo Bunny stamps, another 3D embossing folder, 4 Noteworthy ephemera packs, 6 washi tape (Bo Bunny, Maggie Holmes, Dylusions) and the large Easter pad.
Does anyone happen to know the product # for the Easter Bo Bunny Noteworthy ephemera pack?

We've gotten some Whimsical in. I missed the floral pack by minutes at my usual haunt and learned the following week from that person that my 2nd stop for whatever I miss at the first allowed a staff member from another store to go shop the back before any of the product came out and she bought all of them.
While I was also there, a staff member (newish and she works there just to stock crafts) told a random other customer to give her her phone number so she could call when they got good stuff in. I have been shopping at this store for years and an offer like this just because you hit it off with someone who does craft shows like you do made me so angry.
So not only am I having to compete with other locals who stalk the stores and learn the patterns I've been well versed in for years so I don't miss out on the things I really want to get my hands on,now I have to compete with employees buying the stores out of the most coveted products before it even hits the shelves AND employees showing preferential treatment to people they have things in common with.

And I’ll bet the employee who shopped the back room also got an employee discount. I would sooo call the store manager as well as email the company. That just completely sucks. I don’t understand why people even buy from those eBay sellers. The stuff is old and the prices are high, sometimes costing more than brand new collections. There just isn’t anything I want that badly, especially considering how the sellers operate. They’re like ticket scalpers.

I stopped by today. Not much of interest.
As for the employee putting aside merchandise for a particular customer, one of the stores where I shop has a nice lady that is willing to check for me if I am looking for something in particular. She will do that for anyone.
If you are hunting for something, it never hurts to ask. Some employees are nicer than others, though. Some can't be bothered. Others will bend over backwards for any and all customers.

I just got back from a work trip this afternoon and decided to go to my TM (3 in town). I knew one got a truck yesterday so I went there first. It doesn't have much for crafts, but I found some cute Thickers. I love that Thickers now come in just chipboard shapes instead of letters. I bought four packs. Then I went to my TM north of town knowing there wouldn't be much since the trucks come in on Monday morning. Both stores were just rolling out the carts as I walked in. We had a snowstorm on Monday and the trucks were delayed 3 days. I felt like it was diving intervention making sure I got first dibs on stuff today. both stores got addiction MH packs of papers. Each pack had 8+ pads in them.

Walked into shelf clearers checking out with bags of things. I like to have first dibs, but I almost never fill even one bag unless I am getting a decent amount of paper. Looked to me like lots of sticker books (of which I have plenty) and more 6.99 PL core kits, but one lady still in the aisle the ONE THING I was hoping to find (the 6x6 Whimsical paper pad) so I'm going to guess if the puffy stickers made their way here this week, chances are the shelf clearers nabbed them all. Left empty handed and incredibly disappointed. I had been in the same shopping center already but didn't realize I had left the store after opening and could have gone to TM until I was a good deal on my way to the grocery store. I clearly made the wrong decision in deciding to stop on the way home from getting groceries instead of turning around.
My day started out like crap (thanks to DST) and I had managed to perk up by the time I was done getting groceries, so that pretty much killed today's mood. Currently drowning my sorrows in attempting to combine PFS Oh Joy with a random 6.25x4.25 Recollections Christmas paper pad and the few pieces from MME's Joyful line to do week 52 of my 2017 PL album. So far, so good.

It isn't super exciting, but I popped into my Tuesday Morning today and managed to find a pack of 50 A2 envelopes from American Crafts for a mere three bucks.
I need to remember to pull up this thread when I'm in shopping, though, so I can look for things people want.

My store only got in a few things like the bows and puffy hearts. I only bought a set of Jane Davenport acrylic paint set in flesh tones.

I went to 2 different TM stores today, since this is the day they have the newest shipment out on the shelves (for my area).
They had new paper pads, but none that I was interested in. I didn't find anything new that I wanted.

I think my friend was right in her speculation.
I know for sure that Echo Park reproduces their lines for discount shopping (these are the collection they sell at the Expos as well). It was why the older lines with 2 sticker sheets suddenly only had one instead of the 2 they had when originally released. My friend found a TON of Maggie Holmes when it first started to show up and some of the same items (not sure if it was 2 of the same thing bought that day or just something she bought another of that she already owned) had 2018 dates on the back of one version and 2013, the original release year was on the other. I'm sure things like Project Life core kits (because of the older kits being in the magnetic boxes and the prices dropping from $10 to $7 now) are older inventory, but it seems likely that popular product or things they feel they can move quickly are being reproduced now. I mean, you can still buy the ephemera for just about any AC collection from AliExpress and people are buying it (it's almost the cost of retail), so it's smart for AC to take advantage of people having interest in older product.
Why do I think this is the case beyond the dates being different? Because this week I found sticker books that aren't in regular circulation. One is labeled as Crate Paper (it's all Maggie Holmes imagery, though) and the other as Amy Tangerine. But the labels aren't the same as the ones for the known sticker books and are actually super generic looking. Just words and then the brand under AC off to one side in a circle. The images are different than the original books. I actually bought this new AT one because I liked it a lot...the original of hers is mostly clear stickers and I personally do not like it at all, mostly because I find clear stickers difficult to use, but also because the imagery didn't appeal to me. The Maggie one is also different from the one in circulation at big box stores.
I really hope there are new versions of the Dear Lizzy and Shimelle books in the works.

Not to ruin your theory, but did the packaging look like this? American Crafts came out with some generic "designer embellishments" that were really reproductions of embellishments from previous designer lines. Scrapbook.com has a bunch of them. They came out maybe last year? I know I've seen a bunch of these generic embellishments at my TM, so I'm wondering if that's what you're talking about.
