I absolutely do not understand why one would want to do that. Paris is my favorite city and I'll be there again in a couple of months. But I have no desire to go tracking about the sewer system, brilliant though it may be. And as far as the catacombs, I wouldn't set foot in them. Something about people burying their loved ones, only for them to be dug up and their bones arranged in a series of tunnels. Something just seems wrong about that. I told my DH he was welcome to go, but it just seemed like something that would be bad luck. I won't do it.
Having said all that, it was an interesting read. And it's amazing that there are so many people walking around down there and gathering.

But if I had three days in Paris, I'd spend it up top in cafés, parks and museums! Paris is my fave city, too. I would love to go back again!
