I feel this was the best episode in a long time. Some real substance, instead of just passing the time. It was nice to see the "old" Michonne, the more caring side of her. What a terrible betrayal. I really hope Michonne gets to reunite with Rick before leaving the show but I'm not hopeful. All those commercial breaks towards the end of the show...so annoying. I agree! At first I wasn't loving the past/present concept but then like often TWD did in the past it showed you answers and foreshadowing. Sometimes I feel they have a writer who really remembers TWD of yester year but that writer isn't involved in every script! Like I've said many times I feel Scott Gimpel is the reason the show took such a drastic turn in the wrong direction. It would be great to see them reunited but it seems unlikely.

canadianscrappergirl, I agree. I only started watching last year, I binge-watched all the seasons up to the current and definitely felt the shift, although I never really knew who was responsible for it.

I haven't watched last Sunday's episode yet (DH went out of town on business Sunday morning and I'm waiting so we can watch together) but I did read some spoilers for this episode (I need to prepare myself ahead of time in case Dog dies - I won't be able to watch that!) Anyway, regarding Michonne and Rick meeting again, I read somewhere that even though Danai Gurira is leaving the show after a few episodes next season, she'll be in at least one of the Walking Dead movies Andrew Lincoln is making. Hopefully they'll reunite there, as I doubt they will on the TV show.

Sunday’s episode was good. Watched the one following TD. Struggling with Hardwick.

Skellinton Dog is alive and well and kind of a bad ass! Thank you! I will keep checking in each week though, if you all don’t mind. I will have to skip any episode where he is hurt or killed. I can handle the people, but I cannot handle an animal’s death. #iknowthereissomethingwrongwithme

Did we know before this episode that Michone and Rick had a son? Maybe I haven't been paying close enough attention the past season or so?
How would Rick and Michone be reunited? Are you thinking that she would find him as a zombie?

Are you thinking that she would find him as a zombie? Yes we knew they had a son. It was revealed in the first episode after Rick's last episode which takes place 6 yrs after. Rick isn't dead so if they're reunited it won't be her finding a walker Rick.

I remember that first episode after Rick's departure and every one on the thread and on TD going crazy because there was a baby well he was 6 from Rick.

I guess I just thought it was something she wished would’ve happened and she was dreaming about it.

I thought that scene in the 1st episode was just a dream... maybe not!! The beginning were flashbacks showing that Michonne (pregnant) and also Daryl spent a lot of time looking for Rick's body or his walking dead body. Daryl said that he followed that creek all the way to the ocean (good grief!).
