I’ve lost more than 60 pounds—go, me!—and would like to lose 30-40 more. I don’t mind shopping for smaller clothes, but now I have to shop for new bras. My current bras’ bands are clearly too big and I might need a smaller cup too.
I don’t enjoy shopping for bras, and when I find one I like I buy multiples. I also hate underwire. What should I do while I’m still losing? Arrgh. I’m thrilled to be smaller and more healthy, but this bra situation vexes me. Help!

Nordstrom does a good job of measuring and fitting. I'd go there, tell them you're in the process of losing more weight but need some that fit properly for now.

I bought a couple of less expensive ones to tide me over and replaced them when they were too big. I won’t invest in upmarket bras until I know I’ll get my moneys worth out them. Currently I am wearing Bali from Kohl’s which are on 30% right now.

I am in the same boat. I just bought 2 new fairly expensive bras because I want my new shape to look as good as it can! I guess I was probably wearing a bra that was too small when I started losing weight though, because my bra band size has not gone down at the same rate the rest of my body has.

Thanks, all! If this the hardest thing about losing weight, I’ll take it!

Go get fitted and get a couple of decent interim bras. A well-fitting bra can make you look like you've lost even more weight and can be just the spur you need in this final stretch!

Congratulations on losing 60 pounds! That is a lot of weight. You must feel amazing.
I second the advice of shopping at Nordstrom. They are incredible when it comes to bra fitting. I went there when I lost my 60 pounds and I was shocked how different my bra size was. It also depends on the bra brand and particular bra sometimes but having that new CORRECT size will make you look so much better in clothes.
I know the bras cost more at Nordstom but they are so much better quality. Instead of buying multiples since you are still losing I'd buy one or at the most two. That way you can have one in the wash and wear one. I wash my bras in cold water with Woolite in the gentle cycle in my washer and then hang them to dry.
Oh, and even though you hate underwire be open to trying a few on-you might find one that feels pretty good in the better quality bras.

I bought 1 good bra from Nordstrom after being fitted & bought a few really supportive sports bras that could adjust with me until I finished losing weight.

This should work wonderfully if you are a B or C cup. They are very popular. View AttachmentThanks for this tip! I checked this bra out on the Hanes website, and they were 2 for $38, with free shipping. I then checked eBay, and Hanes has an official storefront there. They had the same bra for $11.99, with free shipping, and if you spent $25 you got 25% off your order. So I’m getting three bras for $26! This should tide me over till my weight loss is done and stable, then I’ll get myself fitted at Nordstrom’s. Thanks, all!
